Apple Cider Vinegar Remedies

Apple cider vinegar, also called cider vinegar, is obtained by fermenting pulverized apples. It is rich in vitamins such as vitamin B complexes, vitamin C and vitamin E. It also contains minerals such as copper, phosphorus, calcium, magnesium, and many more. Other than these nutritional components, enzymes, pectin, amino acids and potash are useful for our body. It has been found that it has the potential to regulate cholesterol levels, reduce blood pressure, maintain blood sugar levels and also cure arthritis. Its health benefits have been known to mankind from the times of Babylonia and Hippocrates. The milky and cloudy substance that is deposited at the bottom of the bottle is called the 'mother' of vinegar which is beneficial in curing many diseases. Apple cider vinegar remedies can effectively cure many ailments, from yeast infection to allergies.

Home Remedies

Treating Cholesterol
Water soluble pectin present in the vinegar made from crushed apples absorbs harmful toxins and fats from the body. Consumption of three teaspoonfuls of this vinegar everyday can cut down the bad cholesterol levels of the body.

Treating Acid Reflux Disease
The first and foremost thing you should remember is that it should be taken after the meals. It is advisable to take 2 - 3 teaspoonfuls of it twice or thrice in a day. This will normalize the acid level in the stomach.

Treating Arthritis
You can make a mixture of two egg whites, half cup cider vinegar and 2 spoonfuls of olive oil and massage the mixture on to the painful joints. Believe me, it provides great relief from the pain. Even, you can drink the tonic by diluting with water before each meal.

Skin and Hair Problems
It benefits the hair by getting rid of dandruff and itchy scalp, etc. Since it has bactericidal and fungicidal properties, it can treat skin problems. If you apply it on the skin after diluting it, you will notice that the liquid absorbs excess oil from your skin. It also promotes hair growth. Make a mixture of 1/3 of this vinegar with 1 quart of water. Apply this solution after shampooing your hair and keep it for 15 - 20 minutes. Wash your hair thoroughly with cold water. This will balance the pH of the hair.
