Another Friday Night

I fight back the tears, but they will still fall,
I'm only human they say after all,
I choke on the pain, as it rots me away
Looking for words that I just can't say
I hide it as best as I can do,
And yet my human side always seems to show through,
Does my heart have no limit, does it shrug it to mend,
No its wounded in ways, I can not pretend.
Could I send love away to save my torn soul,
Or would it eat at me slowly till out of control
My heart slowly sinking, how long can it swim?
Feeling this pain deep down within.
