Another Eh

Defiance ill to the ear and difficult to the eye,
Yet he screams out no matter the infliction,
Too lost in the effortless lies,
To see through his addictions,

Hooked on it he snorts more,
What good is a little when you can have all,
How long will it be until he hits the wall then the floor,
What's the use of Heaven when it's so easy to fall,

Breaking silently his body crumbles,
The cry for help is too lost,
Through his torment he asks forgiveness in a mumble,
He was man enough to cave but not enough to pay the cost,

If we drown in temptation,
Why not fall into eternal damnation?
