Anne's Powers - Final Chapter

All the fairies quickly rushed towards Anne and picked her up. Anne felt very weak. The headmistress immediately picked her up and took her back to the university.

The headmistress took a magical syrup and poured it into Anne's mouth and Anne gently opened her eyes and the very first word she spoke was, "MOM!"
Anne looked at the headmistress and said again, "MOM?"
"Anne..." The headmistress was cut off by Anne just when she opened her mouth.
"Where's my mom?"
"Anne dear the other fairies are taking care of her... she has been hit by a really bad spell... it will take time for her to heal."
"I know there's something you're hiding from me."
"Anne you're weak now..."
Anne immediately stood up and the headmistress held her hand to stop, "Anne don't go anywhere."
"No! I have to see my mother... and did you tell grandma... did you?"
"Yes... she's with her."
"I feel like am the only one who doesn't know."
Anne quickly rushed out of the room and opened every single door to see where her mother was. The headmistress followed Anne constantly shouting her name. Anne finally stopped.
"Where's she?" Anne asked.
The headmistress looked down and signaled her to follow.
Anne was taken to a dark room where there was only one lamp over a bed. Anne went towards the bed and looked down. Her mom was lying over it.
Anne immediately started crying. She looked at her grandmother and said, "Will she be ok?"
"Anne, I am sorry." Was grandmother's replied.
"No... there has to be a way... we can save her... there has to be a way... she's a fairy... grandma take my life... take my life." Anne held her grandmother tightly and constantly shook her.
Then she went towards her mother's body and held her hand and cried out, "You cannot go! You promised... I promised and look mom I've made you proud... I didn't give up... now you cannot give up. Mom."
The headmistress pulled Anne away but Anne was constantly calling out, "NO! MOM!"
Anne freed herself from the headmistress and said, "All of you stop fooling
me... I know there's a way... I know we can save her."
"Yes, there is a way! But it isn't easy Anne... it's very, very hard."
"I can do anything, I can give my life for her... can't you see she's my mom."
"But Anne there's a big sacrifice."
"What?"
"You'll... you'll have to..."
"I'll have to?"
"You'll have to give up your human form... you'll have to live in your avatar forever... you'll not eat... cuz you'll not feel hungry. Your life will be just like a butterfly... you'll be able to say but you'll not be able to express your emotions through tears... no sleep... nothing... and you'll have to live in fairyland... forever!"
Anne was quiet for sometime. Then she took a deep breath and said, "Am ready... but will I be able to meet you?"
"Yes... but once in every season, when you'll come on earth and be the first drop of rain, first flower of spring, first snowfall and first ray of sun!"
"Am ready... am ready."

There was a dark room where there was no one except Anne, her mother and the headmistress.
The headmistress took a syrup and asked Anne to put a drop of her blood into the pot which contained it. Anne immediately did it. Then the syrup was poured into Anne's mom's mouth. Her mom opened her eyes and saw Anne standing there but in her Avatar and she immediately understood what has happened.
She gently stood up and faced Anne.
"You know what... I want to scold you bad... but you don't deserve it, you don't deserve it." Anne's mother started crying and tightly hugged Anne.
"I can't... can't even cry mom." Said Anne.
"Dear, am proud of you... you know I am."
"Hmm...."

The sky was open... bright blue... the clouds looked like candy floss in the sky. The rainbow Anne flew and spread her wings and passed the last smile to her family and flew into the fairyland to come and visit the whole world every season but there were no regrets in anyone's heart... cuz now the world was free from darkness.
