Anne's Powers - Chapter 9

Anne woke up the next morning and drew out the curtains. She soaked up the sun and breathed in the fresh air. Then she took out a sky blue top from the cupboard along with a dark blue jeans.

Downstairs Mrs. Thompson was preparing breakfast in the kitchen. She did some magic and some pancakes along with some milk and strawberries appeared onto the breakfast table.
"Emily" called grand mom
"Yes mom?"
"Have you packed Anne’s clothes?" she asked while sitting on the chair.
"Oh! I forgot. Don’t worry I’ll just set up some magic wait." She took a deep breath and said, "It’s done!"
Anne came downstairs and said, "morning!"
"OH! Anne you scared me." Said grand mom.
"Am really excited! So when are we leaving?"
"Just after finishing this breakfast."
"Great!"
"Oh so you’re really excited about leaving me huh?’’ said Mrs. Thompson angrily.
"No mom how can you ever think of that and am not going too far away just a bit of magic and…" Anne was cut off by Mrs. Thompson, "Dear you’re not going to next door neighbor. You’re going to another galaxy and you can’t go out of there whenever you wish alright?"
"What? How will I talk to you then?" Anne asked in a depresses tone.
"Wait"
Mrs. Thompson did some magic and gave a bracelet to Anne. The bracelet had a blue sapphire in the middle which was very big.
"Whenever you wish to talk to me. Just rub the sapphire a bit and I’ll communicate with you through it alright?"
"Oh mom." Anne hugged her mother and broke down into tears.
"Alright it’s time you have breakfast." grandma interrupted.
After everyone had breakfast they left for their trip to fairyland. First of all Anne, mrs. Thompson and grand mom drove in a car and then came to a place where nobody was visible even miles away.
"Where are we?" Asked Anne.
"See with the eyes of a fairy and not with the eyes of a human." Said grand mom.
"Ok." Anne felt that she was a fairy and looked around and what she saw amazed her. There was a beautiful garden and there was beautiful bird resembling a swan sitting there.
"This our plane." Said grand mom.
"Mom."Anne looked towards Mrs. Thompson.
"I cannot come with you. This where your journey is going to start and this is where mine ends."
