Anne Heche Retaliates
Anne Heche has fired back at ex-husband Coley Laffoon’s recent remarks and is seeking full custody of their 5-year old son.

Heche has responded to Laffoon’s court papers that were filed on May 2. He is seeking full-custody of their five year old son Homer and $33,000 a month in support. He claimed that Heche is a "poor parent" with "bizarre and delusional behavior." Heche now says that Laffoon is addicted to money, pornography, and poker. She also claims that he is actually seeking $45,000 a month in support. She is seeking full physical and legal custody of their son with visitation rights for Laffoon and asks that the judge deny his request for any financial support.
Heche contends that while Laffoon claims to be a stay at home father he leaves their son with "nannies and babysitters while he plays ping-pong, backgammon and poker and views pornography online." Heche filed papers in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday. According tot he court documents Heche claims that Laffoon "holds a poker game at his home every Thursday night and allows Homer to participate." She also said that Laffoon bragged to her co-stars on the set f her hit show Men In Trees that he "knew each strip joint in town." Each side is saying that the other parent is unfit as a parent.
Heche and Laffoon met in 2000 while she was still romantically involved with comedian Ellen DeGeneres. Heche called off the romance with DeGeneres and married Laffoon in 2001. This is the same year that she published an autobiography detailing her battles with mental illness. The two called it quits in February among rumors that Heche was romancing her Trees co-star James Tupper. Both Heche and Tupper deny that anything romantic began between the two of them until after they both left their respective souses. Tupper split from his wife in November. Heche now claims that Laffoon has "resorted to lies" to get more money from her. His lawyer, Jon S. Summers, reportedly said "any suggestion that the statements were financially motivated is not only false, it’s obscene." No doubt there will be more mudslinging before it is all said and done…
