Tupper recently bought the new home in West Vancouver and Heche has reportedly moved in with him. He told a local newspaper that the living situation "feels a little bit like heaven." Tupper, 42, and Heche, 31, have reportedly been seeing each other since right around January when she split from hubby Coley Laffoon. Tupper left his wife in November. He said in a recent interview with the Vancouver Sun, "We are just exploring our relationship and it has been going very well. Where is it going? I don’t know. Ask me again in a year."
Tupper and Heche reportedly spent three-and-a-half months in Los Angeles to be close to Heche’s 5-year old son, Homer. Said Tupper, "He is unbelievable. We had a cast baseball game on the weekend and he came off and slugged it over the short stop. He has got a preternatural swing." Heche and Laffoon have been battling it out in the court system about everything from custody to child support and who gets what furniture. Right now the arrangement is that while Heche is filming her hit show Men In Trees in Canada she has custody of Homer every other weekend. When she is residing in Los Angeles, which is Homer’s primary residence per the courts, she will have custody every other week.
When Heche announced her split from Laffoon it was widely rumored that she and Tupper were carrying on an on set affair. Both Tupper and Heche claim that they did not begin a romance until they were both single. Tupper recently said that the two developed a strong friendship while filming their show, which took a more serious and romantic turn in January. Tupper said, "In that friendship, we kind of discovered we saw the world in a somewhat similar way." Similar for now anyway…
