Anne Heche & Coley Laffoon's Moment of Truce

Heche and Laffoon have entered into a temporary custody agreement for the five-year old son, Homer. The couple has agreed that until July 22 when Heche reports back to Vancouver for filming on her new hit show Men In Trees they will share custody of Homer. According to court documents filed on May 22 in Los Angeles Superior Court which were just released on Wednesday the couple will transport their son back and forth between their homes every few days. In July, Homer will go with Heche to Canada where he will live with her for the summer. According to the documents the couple has also agreed to "refrain from making derogatory remarks" about one another in front of their son.

Earlier this month Laffoon filed papers requesting full custody of Homer and spousal support. He claimed that Homer experienced nightmares upon his return from his last visit with Heche in Vancouver. Laffoon also claimed that Heche is an unfit parent with "poor parenting skills" and requested that she undergo a psychological evaluation. He also requested $33,000 a month in spousal support because he quit his job as a freelance videographer to be a stay at home dad. Heche hit back at Laffoon claiming that he actually requested $45,000 in spousal support, frequented strip clubs, and dumped Homer off with nannies while he played ping-pong, backgammon, poker, and perused pornography on the internet.

Heche will reportedly pay Laffoon $19,000 for the month of May. They are set for mediation on June 5 and a hearing has been set for June 11. Heche and Laffoon met in 2000 while she was still with ex-girlfriend Ellen DeGeneres. The couple was married in 2001, the same year she released a book called Call Me Crazy detailing her struggles with mental illness, and son Homer was born in March 2002.
