Anne Heche & Coley Laffoon’s Bitter Battle

Laffoon reportedly filed court documents in Los Angeles Superior Court claiming that Heche removed a number of items from the Los Angeles home they share. He said that she took the master bed, a footstool, and yoga-room rugs from the home. He is requesting that the actress be ordered by the court to return the items and also be barred from removing any other items from the home. As of right now the couple is alternating the use of the home while Heche is in Los Angeles per a judge’s temporary order. In the court documents he also states that he "discovered that [Heche] had one into my closet and ripped the buttons off of 19 of my shirts and removed some of my pants."

Heche has denied all of Laffoon’s claims and said that the only items she removed from the home were hers before the marriage. On her list she says that she took four pillows from Bali, pink bedding, and a "picture of saint." She said that she is going to use the items to decorate her home in Vancouver where her hit show Men in Trees will begin filming later this month. According to Heche’s court documents, "All of the furniture, furnishings, artwork, etc that was acquired during marriage and paid for with funds earned during the marriage remains at the residence."

Just a few weeks ago a judge ruled that the couple’s five-year old son, Homer, will live with Laffoon in Los Angeles while Heche is filming in Vancouver. The boy will alternate weekend visits with Heche during filming. Heche and Laffoon were married in 2001 and split in February sparking a very bitter divorce. Laffoon has questioned Heche’s sanity and parenting skills. Heche has accused Laffoon, a stay-at-home dad, of dumping their son off with nannies while he plays poker and peruses porn on the internet and visits strip clubs. Heche is currently dating her co-star, James Tupper.
