Angel's Challenge - Prologue: "Kirk"

This was originally Angel's Beginning but I changed how it started. The characters are the same though. I just didn't like how I started to do Angel's Beginning, so here is my second attempt at writing this story. I'm still working out a name for this also so the one I'm using for this now isn't permanent.
I am sitting at my desk reading through recently gathered information as my associates entered my office. They stood there empty handed and dumbfounded looking. Yet that’s not a surprise to me. On the left stood Damien, whose looks are tall, blond, and brutal. He goes and sits down on the disfigured-looking plaid couch.

On the right stood Nate, whose looks is the typical body builder who works out a lot. He walks to the same couch that Damien is sitting at and sets down next to him. Now Jake was the only one standing, whose looks showed him to be young, muscular, but not fully down growing. He advances to the lazy boy; a soft, brown recliner that was positioned next to the couch.

"Well, you guys look prepared," I said sarcastically.
Damien said without catching the hint of sarcasm, "We are your best."
Nate shakes his head and I don’t blame him. Damien has never been that smart of a guy, but he is a good worker.

"Okay, this meeting is about the information that was gathered on our enemies, the Angels. This information was gathered by a spy, I sent to live among the Angels," I said pointing to a silhouette standing next to the wall, "This information states that Angels don’t age unless they want to, they have many different types of abilities or powers, and all Angels have blue eyes. Which I assume is a genetic trait," I said with a forceful tone.

"Umm, Boss, isn’t that pretty much what we do, too. Except us Demons have green eyes," Nate declared.
"We originate and follow Satan. The Angels originate and follow the Lord," Damien retorted. His response shocked me but he does have random moments of knowledge.
"Yes, all of that is true. But they are here to stop us from taking control of Earth and humans," I said to them, "We need to come up with plans for our attack."

"Alright Boss. We will think of some ideas," Jake said. He is a Demon in training at this moment. He always reacts to a situation by code. Which I don’t think is always so good because some situations can require on the spot thinking. He’s here because he’s Nate’s younger brother. To my opinion, Jake’s not cut out for this kind of life.

"You’re dismissed," I replied. They stood up, and left me alone in my office. I stand up and go through the door behind my desk leading to my bedroom. The warmth of my room hits me in the face as I enter. My room consists of light blue walls and blankets. The dressers were made out of stained oak wood. I then walk through the door bordering the right wall leading me to my bathroom.

I look at my reflection in the mirror. To see my medium length dark brown hair, eyes that are a light green, mouth that is firm, and a nose that is slim but sloped. My muscles look strong, even stronger than what Nate’s muscles look like. I walk back into my bedroom and sit on my king sized bed that was covered in light blue blankets made out of silk. I wiggle my toes on my very soft dark blue carpet.

I sit and think of the tasks ahead of me. I try to figure out the next move to take in my strategized plan. Yet I wonder why I was chosen for this. But I imagine that I had the right qualities for this kind of position. I will do what I am meant to do though. With the tasks ahead, the Angels won’t be able to stop us Demons.
