*~Angel's Arrow: Chapter 7~* Part 2
Chapter Written by: Jessica: Madness ensues....(Part 2)
"Onee-chan!! You can't let them deal with that girl!" A teenage boy said with a green streak in his hair. A taller man with raven black hair looked at the boy quickly and back at the screen.
"We don't have any say in that Manson. It was the elder's decision to separate us to test us in the first place." He said as he began to pace away from the large screens and towards some chairs in the back. Alex watched nervously on a large chair with his head rested on one knee he had lifted on the couch and sighed as he watched the screen that focused on the three girls.
Liam stood scowling while leaning against a wall. He looked at Rayden and yelled, "Why the hell did you have to drive off a damn pier?!" His face softened into a nervous expression, "You scared all of us half to death. Now the girls I'm sure are wondering where the hell they are." Rayden frowned and looked at Liam apologetically.
"Sorry...it is the only way that you can separate those known as guardians and those that might be into the Otherside. That portal has been used for years to test potential guardians or angel arrow keepers." He said.
"You really know quite a lot young Rayden." An old man walked into the room with his hood covering his face. His long, silver beard was the only visible part of him not covered by the cloak they wore. Rayden looked at the man who walked in and bowed slightly.
"Jonah...the three people who we thought were chosen one have run into a bit of danger." Alex said as he stood up and looked at the short old man. The old man's expression was un-readable as he walked past the boys and towards the screen. Manson nervously crossed his arms and fidgeted with his hands. Jonah stared up at the screen and sighed.
"This is not good...that girl...she's a fallen angel. Almost every guardian knows about her." He said briskly walking towards a wall with a small number pad on in. He typed in a quick code and it opened up to a large book. Jonah carried it with ease and placed it onto a table in the middle of the room. He placed his hands over it and muttered something in Dutch.
"De engel van de hemelse hand van de God, leent me uw kennis." He said and the book glowed. Jonah's hood was blown off and he said lightly, "Seraphina Fuoco." The book opened and glowed lightly as a holographic image of Seraphina appeared holding her sparkling sword. "She is a rank A assassin working for Lumiere. She's a fallen angel and used to work for the Angelic Army as a captain. She's dangerous."
Manson stood up and said worriedly, "OMIGOSH! We hafta save them!" He went over to his weapon held by a holder and picked it up. It was a large spear type weapon, but in the shape of a cross. Large spear points were at the tips of each end. In the middle was a little chibi doll of a vampire. He ran towards the door where Rayden, Alex, and Liam moved in front of it.
"I apologize Manson. But it is for their own good. They must learn to get used to their weapons so we can tell if they are meant to protect the world and search for the arrow, or save the world as the arrow." Jonah said pulling his hood back over his ancient face. Liam and Alex nodded and moved from the door when Manson gave up and put his weapon down.
"But, there's one thing I'm confused about," Alex said as he walked over to a snack machine and press the buttons to get a packaged pickle. He placed in 10 lenos (the money used in the Otherside/forbidden city) and watched at the pickle dropped into the pickup area.
"What Alex?" Manson asked as he slowly inched towards him with his eyes big and watery. Alex opened the wrapper and took a bite of the pickle. He swallowed a big piece of it and wiped his mouth.
"Why are you even here?!" he said shouting at Manson, "That's the reason we tried to leave without you knowing! And how the heck did you fit into Rayden's suitcase?!" Manson suddenly teleported to a corner with little dark swirls forming around him. Liam began to laugh his head off, as Manson silently muttered something and Alex laughed nervously.
Rayden sighed and put two fingers on the bridge of his nose. "Manson." Manson turned around with sad puppy eyes and did a silent, woof! Rayden clenched his fist trying to resist his cuddly cuteness, "Don't' give me those damn puppy eyes."
Manson whimpered a bit sadly before poking at mushrooms in the corner. Liam and Alex both came up to the side of him, "Mushrooms?" Alex poked at one that was growing in the corner, "Now he has the magical power to grow mushrooms outta nowhere. Nice."
Jonah looked up at the screen as he watched the girls approach the Forbidden City.
