*~Angel's Arrow: Chapter 11~* Part 2

"Good morning girls!" Jonah said over the large speaker. The three girls were in the large room together once again, but this time, there were gates around it like the coliseums where lions were held to maul people brutally. Jewel and Keira both had their hair pulled back and out of their eyes. Anna had her hair down and straightened. Jewel was looking at her wrist where she bought a bracelet that increased her power. It was glowing slightly and she seemed to be entranced in it until she heard Jonah's loud voice over the speaker. Keira had bags underneath her eyes, but she kept her posture straight as she looked at all the gates. Anna had her hand on her hip cockily and wide awake as she drew her sword.
"So what's today's challenge Jonah?" Anna said looking up at him behind the glass above. Jonah still had his face covered by the cloak's shroud. He laughed lightly as he looked at the field, "This is a test of strength and the last test." The girls all suddenly looked up at him shocked.
"W-What? How can this be the last test?! We only did one other one yesterday!" Keira said looking up at Jonah. Jonah shrugged from underneath his shrouded face and his beard, "Did I not tell you there were only two tests? My mistake." Jewel, Keira, and Anna all looked at Jonah with an annoyed expression and frowned.
"Either way, you see all the gates? Behind each gate is about...I'd say 20-25 demons from the Otherside." The girls made no comment but were staring nervously at the gates. Jewel and Keira looked at one another nervously before Jonah began to speak again, " - and the last one remaining is the true angel's arrow keeper. If none of you survive...well...hopefully that doesn't happen. Open the gates!"
The large gates opened in the large coliseum and hundreds of demons from the Otherside were released. Thousands of dusks and different types of demons swarmed their way towards them. Most crowded towards the giant light above, trying to block out any source of light from above. After the weaker dusks blocked out the light, it was pitch black in the room.
"OH CRAP!" Anna said drawing her sword. It glowed faintly, just barely illuminating the front of them. Jewel and Keira nervously glanced at one another before taking a stance. Jewel held her gunblade up in the air and let a giant blast form into a massive ball of light. Now most of the room was illuminated with light, but along the walls were thousands of dusks and other demons. "Ravenor demons." Keira said as she rushed towards a group of larger demons, and slashed at them with her blade. Jewel fired the ball of light at a large goup, defeating many but leaving them once again in darkness besides the amount of light their blade emitted. Jewel jumped back as a large demon slammed at her with its massive fist. She fired several shots at it and swung her blade through the middle of it.
"How can you be so sure?" she asked as she expertly fired thousands of bullets at the demons approaching her.
Keira crouched down and pushed up to spring high into the air and slashed at a few covering the lights above. For a quick second the room was full of light. Anna was fighting off weaker demons around some of the lights. Her swings were graceful and slightly off, but she was fighting. Suddenly, Anna was flung across the room into a dusk covered wall. The dusks held her against the wall as she struggled against them. More dusks once again covered the light and the room was in darkness again. Jewel and Keira both closed their eyes at the same time and stopped moving for a moment.
"I don't need my sense of sight if I can't see." They both thought as the focused. They could both hear the slithering of the demons around them and they could tell that there were only about 5 or 6 strong demon's left. They both cut through a few of them before Jewel was hit strongly by a large fist, punching her away from the large demon she was facing. She created a large ball of light with her gunblade and opened her eyes slowly. She looked slowly upward; to see a 10 foot tall demon. She tried to take a step back, but seemed to be paralyzed by the giant demons form.
It was around 10 feet high and had the head of a snake. Its eyes were blood red and its hands were webbed together. Its lower body was also part snake, but on the tip of its tail was a large sharp sword. It swung its tail up and was about to slam it down ending Jewel's life.
"JEWEL!!!" Keira shouted as she came up from behind the snake and sliced through the top of its head. It shrieked out a hoarse cry as it swung its tail at her. She stopped it with her sword and began to run up its ridged tail. She approached the face of the demon and slit the throat of it. It cried out in a terrible gurgle and fell on the floor. Black demonotrose was pooling on the floor before the snake being disappeared.
Jewel ran up to Keira, "Thanks." She said. Muffled cries were heard off in the distance along with the sharp yells of a girl. Jewel and Keira's head both snapped towards each other and said, "Anna!" Jewel illuminated the room with a large ball of light from her gun and they both stood staring at the sight in front of them. Jewel began to feel nauseous as she looked at the disgusting scene In front of her and Keira. Anna's sword was fallen against the floor and covered in blood and human blood. She was still being held to the wall, but her body was barely recognizable. Her arms had several large gashed oozing with blood. Her robe were in tatters and the only clothing that remained was the black tank top and black shorts underneath that had some cuts among them. A piece in the side of her leg was missing and her arms were in a weird position. Her eyes were full of tears and a dusk covered her mouth, muffling her yelling and trying to fight back.
Jewel and Keira both ran towards her and slashed at the demons holding her. Keira put the bloodied Anna over her shoulder and swung at the remaining demons. Suddenly, thousands of dusks swarmed towards them and were about to attack them. Jewel fired the large ball of light towards the demons, but more kept coming,
"This is impossible!!!" Jewel yelled as she swung as the dusks attacking Keira and Anna, Keira fought back slightly, trying not to drop Anna. Suddenly, time seemed to slow down. Jewel's arms began to glow a faint blue and the aura around them was shaped like large blades. She jabbed at the demons coming with ease, destroying them with one touch. Keira watched in amazement as her hands began to glow blue as well, but from her hands formed a soft blue defensive power. A strong force field formed around Keira and Anna and defended against the small demons. The aura around Jewel began to glow, slowly expanding through the room. The aura began to push the demons back and slowly began to crush them against the wall and ceiling. They all disappeared and the light returned to the room.
Demonotrose stained the once white walls alone with all the blood lost by the three girls. Jonah came down from the room he was in above, just as Jewel and Keira's aura disappeared. Anna was lying on the floor with her eyes closed.
Above Jewel's eye was a small gash, and along her arms were different cuts and scrapes. Blood was staining her black robe. Keira looked exactly the same way, but her hair was now a mess. Several guardians looked inside the room and rushed in with two poles with a large strong fabric in between them. One slowly lifted Anna up and placed her on the stretcher as the other two lifted it and prepared to carry her away to what Keira and Jewel thought to be the infirmary.
"Well, if you'd please follow me. You two..." he said slowly as he took off his hood and keeled in front of them, "...are the keepers of the Angel's Arrow." Keira and Jewel both seemed to stare in amazement at Jonah. He didn't look like how you would picture him to look. His face was young without a wrinkle in sight. What they thought to be his beard was just his snow white hair wrapped around in front of him and tied in a low ponytail below his chin. His eyes were a piercing red and a fang was hanging out from the outside his lip. Jonah stood back up and turned around as he flipped his old hood back on, "Shall we head to the infirmary to heal your wounds?"
The two girls nodded and followed Jonah who was trailing behind the meds carrying Anna.

"Anna!" Liam shouted as he ran into the room. Anna's hair, still speckled with blood was spread out behind her. The leg that had a piece missing from it had a medical Guardian kneeling down beside her and slowly healing it with a green aura. Her arms were covered in glowing bandages meant to heal the gashes on her arms.
Anna smiled and looked up at Liam from her white sheeted bed, "Hi Liam." Liam rushed to her side and looked at her sadly and with tears welling in his eyes. Jewel and Anna had the same bandages on their arms and were sitting in large comfortable chair with Jonah facing away from them, looking at a window at the large sun. Alex, Manson, and Rayden rushed into the room behind Liam. Rayden rushed to Jewel as Alex rushed to Keira. Rayden glared over at Jonah and grabbed his arm to shove him around.
"Jonah. What the hell did you make these girls do?!" he asked angrily with acid in his voice. Jonah sighed from behind his hood and replied, "I made them take the final test. If I told you then you would have interfered-"
"You put Jewel and the others in danger! Look what happened to Anna!" Rayden said while pointing angrily at Anna who was lying in the bed talking to Liam silently.
Jonah stood still as he still looked at Rayden, "Her wounds will be healed, and her mind will be erased of ever coming here. If she was able to be injured that badly by dusks, then she isn't a part of the angel's arrow so she is useless to us."
"USELESS?!" Liam said as he stormed towards Jonah, "She is less useless than you are! You put these girls in fricken danger and you're just going to erase her memory?! How sickening Jonah." Jonah stared at Liam and sighed sadly, "Liam."
"What?!" he said as he was facing the door about to leave.
"You are relieved by your guardian duties. You may return to Earth with Anna as a human. And if you return, you shall be classified as a rouge and will be wanted everywhere to die." Jonah said. Liam stayed quiet in the door and slowly walked away from the door, down the hallway. Alex began to rush towards Liam, "Liam!" Jonah grabbed Alex's sleeve and said seriously, "Let him go." They all just stared at Jonah with amazement. Anna and Liam...were gone.
