*~Angel's Arrow: Chapter 10~*

After waiting for Anna to get out of the shower they went out in search of Manson. "Manson, come out wherever you are!" Liam said. Alex slapped his arm and said, "Dude, this isn't hide-n-go-seek!" Liam rubbed his arm and said a silent 'ouch'.

After searching the building they went out to the huge garden to look. "Manson!" Alex called. "Manson!" Rayden yelled. "Where could he have gone?" Jonah asked. Jewel and Anna shrugged. Keira looked over to the side where there was a fountain and heard rustling. "Hey I'm gonna go check out over there," she said. "Ok" everyone said together.

She walked over to the fountain the rustling getting louder. As she walked behind the fountain the rustling stopped. She looked around and around but she still didn't see anything. Keira kept walking through the dark path nervously until she came out at a hillside with a large lake extending outward.She nervously kept walking until she saw a hunch sitting on a hillside deep in the overgrown flowers and grass. "M-Manson?" Keira said nervously. The hunch turned around, looked, and turned back around. Keira sighed.

Keira sat down next to Manson. "Hey Manson," Keira said.

"Hey Keira," he said. He rested his head atop of his knees.

"Is there something wrong?" Keira asked.

"No," Manson replied.

"Then why are you out here all alone?" she asked curiously.
Manson laughed as he fell back against the grass lazily and laughed lightly, "I have to stay away from Rayden and the other guys at least for a couple of days so they don't try to murder me." Keira looked up at the night sky. In front of them was a large lake with the two moons reflecting off it. She then looked at Manson who appeared to be staring at her. "Why are you staring at me?" Keira asked pushing her bangs to the side. Manson smiled as he replied, "Nothing."

The sky seemed to be nothing but stars and the giant moon's that were so close it looked like you could touch it if you extended your hand out to reach it at night here in the Forbidden City. "Manson, why are there more stars here than over in California-or in my world for a matter of fact?" Manson looked up at the sky as he answered her question.

"Well you know, when you entered that realm you were in either the Otherside or human world or that place not quite in either of them. Well, that door you went through from nothing, the in-between thing, teleported you to a different world known as Fae. This is the world the Forbidden City is in. It has two moons, and only one sun. We are in the middle of nowhere basically. Different worlds surround us so there have to be millions of stars in our sky." he explained as he looked away from Keira and at the starry sky, "So that probably why we don't use street lights. The stars are our lights ad well as the moons."

"Oh," Keira said sitting next to him while looking at the sky, "well it's very pretty," Keira smiled.

Manson didn't say anything but nodded. They sat there for a while before Keira finally said, "Manson we better get back, they've been looking for you and I'm sure they're looking for me by now."

Manson sat up quickly light a bolt of lightning from the sky, "No, no, no, no, no, no, no, and NO! I am most DEFINITELY NOT gunna go back there and face Alex, Liam, and especially Rayden," he said.
"Manson, come on, we have to go back," Keira said grabbing his hand and getting up. Manson looked down at his hand in hers and sighed.

"Ok, fine, but if they kill me I'll be haunting you as a little ghostie!" he said pointing a finger at her. Keira giggled and pulled him away from the elegant hillside lake and towards the forest from which she came from.

"Keira! You found Manson! Now," Alex smiled evilly as he held up a simple rose that quickly lengthened and solidified into metal, "to kill him!" Alex said smiling evilly. As Rayden, Liam, and Alex neared Manson, Keira jumped in front of them and yelled "NO!" Everyone looked confused.

"Keira, what are you DOING?" Jewel asked half confused and half frustrated.

"Just... just don't hurt him." Keira answered.

"Well you heard her," Rayden sighed. "We won't hurt Manson if you don't want us to, Keira," Rayden said politely.

"Wha-what?? Rayden? He's going to get away with what he did? He KISSED us and made me smell a cloth with fricken' chloroform if you have forgotten!" Jewel yelled frustration taking over.

"Jewel's right Keira," he said. "And we all know how much you wanted that first kiss to be with the one the only Alex!" Anna teased. Keira turned a bright red. "Shut up Anna! We all know you wanted your first kiss to be with Liam!" she yelled. Jewel was on the floor laughing her head off. "Jewel! Stop laughing we all know that you were hoping for your first kiss with Rayd-!" Anna screamed clearly getting frustrated before being cut off with the way Jewel looked at her. Her eyes narrowed into small slits and seemed to glow with anger. Behind her a small fire seemed to burn as she pulled Dark Heart and aimed it at Anna. Her glare seemed to stop Anna from talking. The boys seemed to enjoy the cat fight, but as soon as the death glare was given, Alex, Liam, and Manson all fled to a corner where they looked at Jewel.

"She's just as scary as Rayden!" they all muttered to each other as they looked at her. Rayden saw this and began to run towards Jewel and took away her gunblade. The flame dispersed and she looked at her hand noticing the gun blade was gone, "Hey!" she shouted as she chased Rayden to get her gunblade back.

Alex and Liam went up to Keira and Anna to calm them down after being glared at and embarrassed. The girls breathed in and said sorry to each other. Jewel grabbed her gunblade back and but it back into the holder on her back.

"Ok now we have to get you in to the testing room," Jonah said after the incident. "Testing room? That sounds dangerous..." Keira said.
"It does but all you have to do is pass a series of tests," Jonah explained.

"Oh, well when you put it that way... No it still sounds dangerous." Keira said slowly inching away from Jonah and towards Alex. Jonah rolled his eyes underneath his hood and led them towards the testing room. The room was round, white and empty. It seemed to be as large as an arena. The only things sitting on the white floor were bows and arrows. As Jewel turned around to ask Jonah about the bows and arrows everyone was gone. She turned back around and shrugged. The girls picked up the bows and arrows. "What are we supposed to do with these?" Keira asked. Anna and Jewel shrugged.

Then there was a voice coming out of nowhere. "Ok you must now take the aim test. This test will ensure that one and only one of you are the arrow." The voice which sounded like Jonah's said. "BE SAFE MY DARLINGS!" Manson yelled. Everyone rolled their eyes. "Let the test begin," Jonah said.

Suddenly, what appeared to be small flying discs started being flung in the air. "What the...?" Jewel started. "I think we're supposed to shoot them," Anna said. Keira and Jewel both nodded. Anna shot, Jewel shot, and they both missed. Keira took her stance and focused on one disc. She pulled the arrow back then let go. Next thing you know the disc was on the floor in two pieces.

"WHOOO!!!" was what came out of the speakers that were hidden. The girls started to laugh, knowing it was Manson who screamed that. "Good job Keira we will do the next test tomorrow, usually people can't get past the fighting demons stage. But no matter, the boys will show you to your bedroom." Jonah said.

The boys led the girls over to their bedrooms. Anna next to Liam, Jewel next to Rayden, and Keira in between Manson and Alex. Jewel and Rayden were talking about the next test, Liam and Anna were talking about skating and how Liam claims he's 'beast' at it, and Keira and Manson were getting to know each other. Alex was clearly jealous by the way he looked at Manson.

"So the next test..."

"I totally shredded that...."

"So my favorite color is..." was all Alex could hear. He was getting frustrated that Manson was talking to Keira so he interrupted him.
"So Keira, I hear you want to be a photographer?" Alex said. He slowly nudged her away from Manson. Keira looked at him happily, "Actually I do I was hoping to be a photographer for marine biology!" she said excitedly.

"Oh you're in to marine biology too?" Manson asked. She turned back around to face Manson again and started to squeal delightfully about the works of marine biology.

"Total backfire, dude;" Liam chuckled.

"Shut up, it's Manson. She's not gunna fall for him." Alex said. Liam looked over at Manson then back at Alex and said with a devious smirk, "Hey, you know what Keira loves in a guy?" Alex glanced over at Liam who had his hands behind his back and was leaning forward slightly. Alex nervously looked at Liam as he leaned over a bit to hear what he had to say. Liam whispered something to Alex and Anna was clearly giggling behind him.

"Really?" Alex asked. Liam nodded quickly and Alex looked over at Keira before nodding as a way to encourage himself. He rushed over to Keira and pushed Manson strongly off to the side. He took in a deep breath and said to Keira, "Ello there Keira! Isn't that pearly white moon quite a fine sight to see?" Alex smiled, trying to get her to buy his newly learned Australian accent. Keira looked at him confused and laughed a bit.

"Aren't we inside right now Alex?" she giggled as she looked at the walls with no window in sight. Alex sweat dropped a bit before looking back at her.

"W-Well I knew you saw the two beauties outside a lil' while ago..." he said laughing nervously looking back at his feet. Keira grew silent for a moment before looking at him blankly. He kept his face down and Keira put a hand on his shoulder as she began to giggle a bit. Alex looked back up at her as her face was turning red as she was trying to hold back her laughter. She finally wasn't able to hold back any longer and laughed crazily.

"HAHAHAHAHA!!! ALEX!!! Are you really trying to use an Australian accent to impress me?!?Oh my god... you're so funny!!!!" she said holding her stomach out of pure pain from laughing so hard. Alex lifted his head up and nervously scratched the back of his head. Keira looked up at him and stopped laughing for a second before smiling broadly, "Alex, this is why I like you!"

Alex blushed slightly before replying, "R-Really?" Keira giggled a bit and nodded, "Yes really!" Without notice, Rayden came up from behind Alex and tapped him on the shoulder and pointed at the door, "You got to drop Keira off here Alex."

"O-Oh yeah!" Alex said looking at Keira, "This is your room. I kinda...put some things in there that I thought you'd like." Keira laughed and went towards the door, "I'm sure I'll like it because you probably know me best Alex." She opened it and walked in before closing the door. She started giggling when right before she closed the door she saw Manson glaring at Alex.
