*~Angel's Arrow: Chapter 6~*
Chapter Written by: Adriana. The story continues once again...
As the girls got out of the driveway, the boys seemed to already be ahead of them, each in different cars, going in the directions of the girl's houses. So Jewel drove Keira first, then Anna, and herself last. When Keira got out, Alex was waiting for her on the driveway. "Don't worry; I got here before you did, of course, so I already took care of your parents. Their fast asleep in their room and probably won't wake up sometime tomorrow afternoon, so you'll be fine. Rayden and Liam said the same thing when Jewel and Anna got out of the car.
The boys went inside each of the girl's houses and helped them pack, and the girl's shooed them out when they were done packing to change clothes. They all seemed to change at the same time, and ended up meeting back at Rayden's house at the same time, too. Wow. How ironic. Jewel was wearing a black shirt with three big purple sculls on it with swirly lines too, with jeans and tennis shoes. Keira was wearing a white shirt with a ninja jumping in the air saying "Don't diss ninjas, your just jealous they're cooler than you!" with caprice and black tennis shoes. Anna wore a black shirt with big white letters saying "Don't hate txt-aholics like me!" with skinny jeans and black high-tops.
They all met inside Rayden's house in sync, and when they walked into the house, the guys turned around, and their eyes went wide when they got a good look at the girls. They giggled and sat down on the love seats waiting on command to pick up their belongings and head out to find the Forbidden City. Liam, Alex, and Rayden decided to wait until the elder came back for them. The house was dead silent, but then the girls couldn't help themselves and started talking nervously about their new adventure.
"Oh my GOSH!! I can't wait to go to the Forbidden City! I wonder where it's located." Keira squealed. Leave it to Keira to be the first one to get excited. Anna and Jewel just started laughing, as well as the guys when they looked at Keira and saw her popping up and down from the love seat with a huge grin on her face. Knowing Keira she would normally be the freaking out one of the bunch.
"Keira, you're just excited about going to this place because Alex is going to be there!" Anna said, making sure it was loud enough so that she could be heard among the boy's conversation too. Keira immediately started blushing. Anna and Jewel started cracking up and they hi-fived themselves. Keira gave them a glare, but ended up laughing along with everyone else. There was a knock on the door about 10 minutes after the huge laughing jag, and Rayden hopped off the sofa to get the door.
The elder that was at the house earlier walked in, and bowed to everyone, nodded to Rayden, and walked back out the door, with Rayden following. Everyone had a puzzled look on their faces. They took that as their line to grab their things and put them in the lambo. They went out the back door, so they wouldn't have disrupted the conversation of the elder and Rayden. Alex popped the trunk of the car, which had amazingly large trunk space for the size of the car already, and leaned against it, followed by Liam. The girls were standing in a little circle still talking.
"Liam, do you have any idea how far the Forbidden City is from here?' Anna asked, noticeably inching closer to him.
"I think Rayden said something about 3 days by car or so, but I'm not sure. It could take longer. I know for sure that about 3/4 of the way there, there is a huge mountain that could only be crossed by foot, so it'll probably take longer than three days." He said matter-of-factly. He scooted over a little, noticing Anna's scooting closer, making room for her, and Alex did the same for Keira. They both smiled at the guys and at each other, and went to lean next to them. They all heard crunching of leaves from behind the back corner where they came from the house. Rayden comes walking around the bend with his hands in his pockets and his jacket unzipped. Jewel's eyes went wide, and everyone started laughing, and she just randomly smacked both Keira and Anna's arms, with an "Owl!" from both on them.
Rayden walked over to the car, and smiled at Jewel, then at everyone else. "Okay, the trip will take about 4 to 5 days tops, if we leave now. Note, the route we're taking is dangerous, and that we could encounter some Vampires and such, but I'm not 100% certain." Rayden said, already opening the car door. Looks like he's driving. Everyone agreed and got in the car. The car was a lot bigger than a normal lambo should be. Everyone fit nicely in the back and front rows, and still had leg room. Anna sat next to Liam, Keira with Alex, and Jewel with Rayden; of course. Rayden immediately pulled out of the driveway with a fast vroom and was on his way to the outskirts of the town. No one was ready for the adventure they were about to be headed into.
