Angelina Jolie to Adopt Again

Vu Duc Long, the director of Vietnam’s International Adoption Agency, said that the adoption papers had been submitted by an American adoption agency that represents Jolie and that the papers were just filed this week. Jolie applied to adopt as a single parent and the U.S. adoption agency working with the actress has not been named. It has been reported that Jolie is looking to adopt a boy that is approximately 3 or 4 years old.

Jolie has made no secret that she wants to adopt more kids and said in December, "I’d like to add many more children and many more obstacles and many more things to my life." Jolie and her partner, Brad Pitt, have a 5-year old son who was adopted from Cambodia, and a 2-year old daughter Zahara who was adopted from Ethiopia. They welcomed a daughter, Shiloh, 9 months ago and she has citizenships from America and from Namibia, the southern African country where she was born.

Jolie said in an interview in June, "Next, we’ll adopt. We don’t know [from] which country. It’s gonna be the balance of what would be best for Mad and Z right now. It’s, you know, another boy, another girl, which country, which race would fit in best with the kids." Last Thanksgiving, Jolie and Pitt traveled to Vietnam and toured the Tam Binh orphanage outside of Ho Chi Minh City. Jolie also traveled to Vietnam in January for a meeting benefiting the Maddox Jolie-Pitt Project, a charity that she runs to aid her son’s native country of Cambodia. No word when the adoption will be official.
