Angelina Jolie Awaiting Birth of Twins

Jolie, 33, reportedly checked into the hospital so her pregnancy can be monitored and will not be giving birth right away. Her rep said, "Yes, Jolie is here, and she is absolutely fine. There is no need for people to worry." She will reportedly remain in the hospital until she gives birth to the twins. This will be the fifth and sixth children for Jolie and her partner Brad Pitt. The couple are already parents to Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 2.

Although it was widely speculated that Jolie was carrying twins, the news was not confirmed until mid March when she was doing an interview with Natalie Morales of the Today Show with her Kung Fu Panda co-star Jack Black. Black accidentally let the cat out of the bag when he said to Jolie during the interview, "You’re gonna have as many as [the] Brady Bunch when you have these." When Morales asked if Jolie was expecting twins she said, "Yeah, yeah, we’ve confirmed that already. Well, Jack’s just confirmed it actually."

In late May it was reported that Jolie had given birth to the twins and named them Isla Marcheline and Amelie Jane. It was later revealed that she had not yet given birth. She recently said in an interview that she and Pitt "weren’t expecting twins!" She said it was a "shock" but they like a "challenge." They also said that they are going to try and avoid hiring help and will try and handle it on their own. And they have said they probably won’t stop at six….who knows how many kids the couple will end up with.
