Dick, 42, was arrested around 2 a.m. in Murrieta, California in a parking lot near a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant. Cops reportedly responded to a disturbance call at around 1:15 a.m. The caller reported a person urinating in the parking lot of the restaurant. When officers arrived on the scene they were told that Dick had sexually battered a 17-year old restaurant patron. Dick reportedly approached the two girls outside of the restaurant and pulled down the tank top of one of the girls. Sources say that he was "extremely intoxicated."
Dick’s friends reportedly got him into a truck and took off, but police pulled them over in a nearby parking lot. The arresting officer, Lt. Dennis Vrooman, said, "The girls were not comfortable with what he had done. They signed private arrest forms requesting that he be arrested. It was not mutual." After Dick was pulled over the girls reportedly identified him in a "curbside" lineup. Officers searched the actor/comedian and found marijuana and a Xanax in his pocket.
Dick was booked at the Southwest Detention Center at 4:30 a.m. He was booked on felony possession of narcotics, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and misdemeanor sexual battery. He was then reportedly transferred to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department where he posted $5,000 bail and was released. He is set to appear in court on August 12. This is not Dick’s first brush with the law. He was arrested in 1999 on charges of cocaine and marijuana possession after crashing his car into a telephone pole in Hollywood. He was also cited last year in Columbus, Ohio for urinating in a public place.
