Andropause Symptoms
Andropause or the male menopause generally affects men after the age of 30 and the most common Andropause symptom is sexual or erctile dysfunction accompanied with low libido.
Age affects everyone of us and fact of the matter is that some men are affected more by it than others. Age affects every aspect of life whether physical, mental or sexual. Millions of men suffer from Andropause worldwide without even knowing it.
Andropause is often termed as Male Menopause. Generally men are able to reproduce till much later in life, they experience whole lot of changes physically and mentally as they grow old. Unlike women, not all men experience andropause.
Testosterone or the male hormone starts declining at 10% a decade among men after the age of thirty but some feel the effects more strongly than the others.
Testosterone is the hormone that not just affect the sex drive, but it affects the entire body physically and mentally. In fact there is little in a man's body that is not affected by this hormone and as such there is little left untouched by the decrease in quantity of testosterone.
Though medical researchers and doctors have been aware of this since the 1940's, untill recently there has not been a way to diagnose andropause. You may be suffering with andropause if you have exerienced following andropause symptoms:
1.Difficulty in sleeping
2.Lack of Energy
3.Sexual or Erectile Dysfunction
4.Low Libido
5.Irritability
6.Weight Gain
7.Excessive Sweating
8.Hair Loss
Though all of the above are likely symptoms of andropause, the most significant andropause symptom and the one that makes a man feel that something is wrong is the sexual dysfunction. More often than not men try to solve this problem through prescription medication rather than getting to the root of the problem. Men often consider symptoms of andropause as signs of aging. While it is true that aging is often accompanied with these symptoms it is a matter of severity.
While some men take extreme measure like going for hormone therapy, the condition can be treated more naturally. For instance diet and exercise combined with good sleep and lowering stress is generally good for both men and women, it also helps to boost testosterone production.
Other methods include taking natural supplements containing herbal extracts like PROVACYL that does not require any prescription and treats the problem by getting to the root of the it.
