An Ode To Parents
A tribute in prose to my folks.
From the beginning, until even now,
I always know-I know how much you care
Teaching me to ride a bike, to drive a car, to experience everything that I can share.
Worrying for the best;
Hoping for the rest.
I knew why;
I always knew why.
It's because you care and you're always there.
A parent's love is always there.
You may not always know where,
But, as soon as you feel the glare,
You know it's always there.
I always know-I know how much you care
Teaching me to ride a bike, to drive a car, to experience everything that I can share.
Worrying for the best;
Hoping for the rest.
I knew why;
I always knew why.
It's because you care and you're always there.
A parent's love is always there.
You may not always know where,
But, as soon as you feel the glare,
You know it's always there.
