Giles Fielder-Civil has pleaded with Winehouse’s fans to boycott her albums until she and his son get the help they need. Fielder-Civil said in an interview, "I think [Blake and Amy] believe they are recreational users of drugs and they are in control…[they are in] abject denial…Clearly, they are addicts." He went on to say, "Perhaps it’s time to stop buying records. It’s a possibility, to send that message…that her addiction and her behavior are not acceptable."
Winehouse’s father, Mitch, has a different take on the situation. He said in an interview, "It’s all clutching at straws. There’s only one way out of this, and anybody with any drug experience will tell you…they are going to reach rock bottom…and at that point they will say, "Listen, I don’t want this anymore." The problem is…rock bottom may just be too late. Winehouse’s behavior has become increasingly erratic and dangerous. She was reportedly hospitalized on August 8 due to exhaustion. An unidentified source claims that drugs and alcohol were a big part of the hospitalization. Shortly thereafter she cancelled all of her tour dates for the rest of the year.
The "Rehab" singer and hubby Blake were then reportedly in a treatment facility to battle their addictions, but were seen spotted outside the facility shortly after reportedly checking in. On August 24 Winehouse, 23, and her husband were photographed bloodied and bruised after a fight at a hotel in London. There were reports that Fielder-Civil hurt Winehouse after a terrible fight, but she quickly defended him saying that he entered their hotel room and she was about to do drugs with a call girl. She claims that he became upset with her and she began cutting herself. She said he never hurt her and actually saved her life. Someone needs to save her from herself...
