Rijksmuseum is another well known tourist destination of Amsterdam, which is popular for decorative arts and European painting collection. Being the largest museum in Netherlands, it receives an annual footfall of one million. The rarest of rare creative pieces of work belonging to the Golden Age are displayed in this museum of Amsterdam. Due to a renovation project the museum is temporarily shifted to its Philips Wing where an exhibition called The Masterpieces is going on, where works of artists like Frans Hals, Jacob Van Ruysdael, Rambrandts, Johannes Vermeer and Jan Steel are exhibited.
