Amour ~ Chapter 2: School Life

Yukio's P.O.V

As we neared the school entrance I looked at Usagi and Shifted into my human state. "Crap! Usagi we are late! Again!" I paced up and down and decided to shape-shift into Ryuu Kimura. I hope my plan worked. Usagi looked at me confused. By now she was back in her human state. "We can't go in looking like boys, I know. But we need them to come on the camping trip with us." I told her.

"You know that's not going to work besides I can tell the boys are in school." She replied. I sighed in agreement. Why can't life be easier? I looked at the classroom maths; I could see Ryuu had saved me a seat. Again. I shifted back into my human state and headed to maths.

When I arrived at maths I took my seat next to Ryuu, "Hey Ryuu, How are you today?" I asked him politely. "The usual, bored and lonely. Can't wait to get out of this dump next year. The more I stay here the more I want to commit suicide." I giggled at his last sentence. He chuckled as well. "Let me guess your cousin had to jump on you to wake up this morning and yet your still late." He whispered in my ear. "No I had to wake her up today." I lied. "Yukio, I can tell when you are lying I can see it in your eyes that I was right." I sighed and nodded to signal he was correct (a habit I normally do when I admit defeat).

After class I was walking to my locker when I bumped into someone, I looked up to see who it was and it was Ihaka Nima. The most popular boy in school. "Sorry." We both say at the same time, just then the intercom went off "Please could the following students come to the principal's office; Yukio Aikawa, Usagi Mori, Luna Sarugaki and Skylar Kurosaki." The receptionist repeated it once more as I made my way Mr Perkin's office. Great it's a Thursday and I'm already in trouble.

As I walked into the office I could see Skylar and Luna and Usagi were waiting for me. As I looked across the room I met his gaze. Mr Perkin. I sat down between Skylar and Luna not wanting any arguments to break out. "Usagi Mori and Yukio Aikawa you were late again. I had a think; I will not be sending you two girls to camp. Instead you are going to Eton High to collect some supplies. I want Skylar and Luna to go with you, as there are too many supplies just for two girls to handle." He paused a little then carried on. "I do want you to take two other people, boys of course, to protect you along your journey. I have already chosen the boys, I believe Miss Aikawa you are familiar with a Mr Kimura. Also Miss Kurosaki you are familiar with a Mr Nima. These boys will be your escorts and protectors, if anything is to happen to you girls. Well they will be punished." He paused more.

Great the one thing I know what was running through our minds at that moment was, "We actually have to go to our rival school." My thoughts were cut short when Ryuu and Ihaka walked in. "Sir you called us." Announced Ihaka. Mr Perkin's must have asked for them whilst I was in mid-thought. "Ah yes, you see boys you are going to Eton High with the girls here. To collect some supplies. I want you to be their escorts and their protectors." He stopped and ushered all of us out his room. He called to us, "You will leave tomorrow and be back by Monday." With that we walked away.

Skylar's P.O.V

The crisp morning breeze passes me swiftly as I sit on the roof of the school waiting for the first class to finish. This is where I go to calm down and think when the days are just dragging by, plus the fact I hate doing Physics. I'll just hang out here until it's over.

Times getting on, I best start making my way to my next class before I'm late for it. On my way there the Intercom sounds and the Receptionist for the Head Teacher, Mr Perkins, blasts out a list of names. Mines Included. When I reach his office, Usagi and that little Luna are already there. Oh great. I take the seat furthest away from her. Seems like we're waiting on Yukio... what a surprise. I wonder what this is all about.

Mr Perkins began to speak: "Usagi Mori and Yukio Aikawa you were late again. I had a think; I will not be sending you two girls to camp. Instead you are going to Eton High to collect some supplies. I want Skylar and Luna to go with you, as there are too many supplies just for two girls to handle." This is not how I wanted to be spending my weekend.

He then continues on, "I do want you to take two other people, boys of course, to protect you along your journey. I have already chosen the boys, I believe Miss Aikawa you are familiar with a Mr Kimura. Also Miss Kurosaki you are familiar with a Mr Nima. These boys will be your escorts and protectors, if anything is to happen to you girls. Well they will be punished."

"Psh, I can protect myself no problem" I felt like saying, but I kept quiet to avoid any confrontation.

I looked round to Yukio, she seemed deep in thought, then the door swings open and in walks Ihaka and some guy called Ryuu... he must be in the year below, I don't recognize him. Apparently these guys are our protection?

Another downside to this whole trip, we have to visit Eton High. Probably the school I hate the most. But that's a story for another time as we're all swiftly pushed out of the room.

Mr Perkins last words were: "You will leave tomorrow and be back by Monday." Fuck My Life. At least Yukio, Usagi and Ihaka will be there to keep me sane.
