The exact date is not out yet, but this is what the processor gurus (experts) are hinting at. Initially the release date was also supposed to be around late January or February. However, on the basis of news obtained by the insiders, it looks like the release is not going to happen till Q1 or Q2 of 2011. The AMD director is pointing at Q2 2011 launch. In the Q3, the server versions will be out, seemingly. The time taken for Llano products to be tested for is further having an impact on the release date. In a nutshell, early 2011 is what we are looking at to get a look at this processor! That is what we can say at this juncture!

Those who are swearing by AMD Bulldozer, they are doing that on the basis of the specifications that this processor is believed to have. Now let us get into what is the Bulldozer exactly all about? To cut a long story short, it is a dual integer core module having a single shared FP unit between the cores. This does not tell laymen much about this processor right?
