Ambien Side Effects - Sleepwalking, Memory Loss, Hallucinations & More

I discuss findings from our independent research involving hundreds of Ambien users regarding the effect the sleeping pill may have on the user.
Looking to find out about the main side effects of Ambien sleeping pills? If so, I have some unbiased and useful information to share with you.

My research team has conducted independent research by scouring through dozens of online message boards and collecting data from over actual 350 Ambien users.

Ignorance of Drug's Effect

One disturbing and important point that immediately made itself clear when conducting our research is that most people who are considering using Ambien or even those who are currently taking Ambien are not aware of the side effects of the drug.

Put differently, users are often partially if not totally ignorant of what they are getting themselves into. What is worse is that the doctors who prescribe Ambien seem to often be just as uninformed as the patient when it comes to being aware of the side effects, dangers and downsides.

Sleep Acting

Are side effects common among Ambian users? It would seem so. About half of Ambian users included in our research said that they experience side effects.

The most common side effect or downside is sleep acting. This is a broader and more bizarre activity than mere sleepwalking and can involve sleep talking, sleep cooking, sleep cleaning, sleep driving, sleep swearing, sleep sex, sleep emailing, sleep phoning, and more.

In addition, Ambien users say that they have little or no memory of sleep acting. They are usually informed of their actions the next day, often by family members. Also, it is not uncommon for the actions that the Ambien user took while under the drug's influence to be embarrassing.

Additional reported side effects include hallucinations, next day drowsiness, anxiety & panic attacks, lucid dreams and intense, highly disturbing nightmares.
