"Campers! After lunch please gather at the main camp fire ground."
The third day at camp and nobody didn't know their way around yet. Jolene, Zeena and I were still at the main building for lunch and were the last one to finish lunch. Jolene and Zeena were still arguing which way was to the camp fire ground. I on the other hand knew the way there but, they didn't believe me saying "The last time we listen to you we end up nowhere but at a dead-end!" I guess it was true, but it's was their lost. I started walking towards the camp fire ground, eventually they would follow afterwards. It was nice out, the sun was shining and the birds were chirping. There were dragon flies flying close by, just thinking how funny so see Zeena screaming as one flew by her.

I had forgotten about them for a second. I couldn't hear Jolene or Zeena yelling anymore, I turn around to find three other guys standing with them they were talking and laughing. I was getting really impatience so I decided I would push them towards the camp fire ground if I had to drag them.
"So you ladies said you don't know the way to the camp fire ground? We'll take you girls there." Jolene and Zeena had their mad game face on now.
The three guys had the same tone of color, they were very tan. One of the guys notice me and greeted me with a smile. I shyly smile back and then fix my eyes on Zeena who was now on one of the guys back.

"Kiya! This is Zizi, Zizi this is Kiya." Of course Zeena would pick the guy that had the same first letter as hers.
Zizi was tall out of the guys and was muscular. He had short brown gold hair that look healthier then mine.
"Hi," I said. Zizi couldn't replay back with Zeena wanting his attention so much that he just smile back at me.
"Kiya, this is Ske and Yuke. Ske, Yuke this is Kiya my friend." Jolene said. They both at the same time greeted me.

Ske was the shortest one out of the guys, but was still taller than us. He had on a tight shirt on that you could tell he had a nice body, and broad shoulders. His hair was to his shoulders in a pony tail. Yuke was tall, but much smaller than the other two, his hair was also short and look a mess.
"Hi," I said. "Well, I think we should get going now. We're going to be the last one there." They didn't even much pay attention to me besides Yuke.
I grab Jolene hand and then Zeena, still on Zizi."Lets go we're going to be late." I started them down the trail.

"If you don't mind we would like to come with since we're all going the same way." Ske said in a very gentleman way.
"Of course we don't mind." Jolene mostly squeal the sentences out.
Zeena jump back on Zizi back."Of course we don't mind." Repeating right after Jolene.
Jolene was walking in between Ske and Yuke while I walk a head of them. I was trying to get as far as I could from them. But I guess I didn't, I heard Jolene mentioning to them about my shyness towards guys. Yes, when it comes to boys I overact and freeze. I don't know how to flirt back, it makes me act to hard that I look even stupider. Not knowing what to say to them, but something stupid.

I walk faster now and I could hear the camp announcer telling the plans of tomorrow. I reach the camp fire ground to find everyone sitting on a log, I sat down on one that was close by. I couldn't believe this is how I'm wasting my summer break. Coming here to learn something, but end up having to keep an eye on Zeena and Jolene. Our plan was to come to camp to learn how to survive in the wilderness then use our skills to go camping on our own. We were wrong, well at least I was.

"I'm reminding you guys that we're still having a talent show. So who ever wants to sign up should sign up now." Oh yeah, the talent show. I forgot they announce that at the begging of the program. "The talent show is in two days from now and I would love to see what you kids got. And don't forget this isn't like at school you have to try out. You could just come up the stage and show us what you got. Also whoever wins gets 30 dollars to best buy."
I could hear Jolene and Zeena abjectness laughs from behind. They eventually made it and sat on the log right next to mine. The three guys met up with three other guys and sat with them.

"Also tomorrow there's a canoe contest. Whoever group wins gets to be the judge for the talent show and each member in that group gets a gift card to the movies." Everybody cheer and shouted.
I wanted to sign up for the talent show, but I don't know if I wanted to do the canoe contest. It's required, but I still didn't want to do it.
"Ok, now everyone were going to play a game. Capture the flag boys against girls, so boys on the left side and girls on the right side."

Everyone got up and separated, Jolene and Zeena came to stand by me with there worry face on. The guys huddle with there team as the girls did too. We were deciding where we wanted to hide the flag, under the outdoor cabinet porch or in a tree.
We decided on the tree but no one could get up the tree. Zeena kept nagging at my shoulders trying to get me to climb the tree. None of the girls could do it and there was no other place to hide it so I finally gave in. Thanks to my childhood of jumping off trees and acting like monkeys I got up the tree easily. The girls were wowing at how easily I got up the tree. I set the flag in between two branches and jump off. Landing on both legs, the girls cheered making my turn red.

"Ready guys!?" the announcer yelled.
"Ready!" the guys shouted together.
"Ready girls!?" the announcer yelled again.
"Ready!" the girls shouted together as the guys.
"And the search is no!" Everyone scatter.

There was a red line to show us the boundaries of both sides. There was two out-door cabinets on both sides so there porch were the dungeon. Jolene wasn't up to the game but Zeena and I were. Jolene just followed us from behind, I wanted to go and find the flag but Zeena wanted to catch the guys who tried to invade on our side.

We did both, as we got close to the line we were tagging the guys and bring them to the dungeon. As soon there wasn't any guy by the line or watching us we went over the line. Jolene was freaking out now too afraid that she get caught. I was too but in a happy way. It was getting exiting with the running away from guys and retrieving the guys flag.

There was a group of girls, by now the guys were chasing after us. So Zeena and I ran towards the group as Jolene did. We were running with them now until a group of guys came after us and we scatter. Jolene was capture and Zeena was still running from one of the guys. Zeena couldn't out run him and soon got capture too. I was alone now, I ran and ran until I saw a ditch and hid down there. As I sat down there was already a girl sitting there. She was patting really hard I could tell she was really into the game.
"Were your friends capture?" She asked me in a short breath.
"Yeah." I said silently as we heard a couple of guys run by.

"My name is Abby." Abby turn around to see what was going on.
She had blonde hair and was half way down her back. I wish I had gotten a hair tie, my hair is all the way to the bottom of my back. I was sweating like a pig and on the back if my neck my hair was getting sticky.
"Hey, my name is Kiya nice to meet you." I got up to see what was happening too.
Zeena and Jolene were on the right side of the porch, it was easier to get to them then. I was getting ready to run for them when I saw a brown hair guy running by. With my instincts I grab Abby shoulder and pulled her down as he ran by. She stared at me with wide eyes and then close them.

"Thanks." She was still patting. "Why don't we do this together?" I nod.
"Yeah,no one is looking we'll run to our friends and save them."
We both stood on our feet's to look if there were any guys in sight. There was two of them blocking the dungeon, but they ran off as three other girls crossed the line. This was our chance now, I tap her on the shoulder and I notice she was already running for it.

I ran after her, we were almost there but the two guys came back. We didn't have time to go up the stairs. Abby quickly ran up the stairs and got caught. I climb on the side of the porch and got whoever was close by. The two guys saw as the girls where getting up to run and started running after me. They couldn't tag Jolene, Zeena, and the other girls I tag out because it was one of the rules. Once you're saved you get a free walk across the line, but I didn't. The girls were blocking the stairs so I went out the same way I got in, I jump off the side of the porch.

It was a really high jump, but I jump further than that before. I set my right arm on the rail and lifted my body over as I stomp on the ground, barley landing on both feet. Now the hard part was getting away, the two guys came running towards me. I stood up and ran like crazy and now everyone was cheering on the guys to get me. I turn around to see how far the guys were from me, they weren't close enough. I turn around and to run, but my foot got stuck. I was going to fall over, I close my eyes so I couldn't see those who saw me fall and make fun of me. I felt hands slide on both of my sides to catch me. I didn't dare to open my eyes still afraid.

"Caught you." He whisper in my ear.
I stood up quickly and turn around to find a handsome brunet. He was also tan like the other guys we met earlier. He smile at me and I turn red, I turn around and started walking. "Sorry, can't let you do that. I have to escort you or you'll run away." He grab my arm and lead the way.
"Aren't you going to thank me for saving you?" He said in a cocky way.
"Um, thank you." We were half way there when I say Abby hiding on the left side of the porch.
"I saw that little stunt you did earlier. When you jump off the porch, that's a pretty long distance I'm surprise you didn't hurt yourself." We reach the porch and he wink at me and left.

Abby gesture me to sit on the left side of the porch. I got up and walk over to the left side and bent down close to listen to what she had to say.
"The girls found the flag but they can't get it. They say it's in a tree-" Abby was cut off when she got caught.
She quickly ran towards me and sat down next to me.
"Tracy says that it's in a tree, but they couldn't get up there." She said.
There were six other girls who's been listening to us.
"So they want me to get it for them." Abby nod, she couldn't speak anymore she was getting tired.

"Alright, but they have to show me which tree it is." Abby pointed at the tree with the white "X" on it. "I'm guessing you guys made that "X" on the tree." Abby nod once again.
"Your right, they couldn't get up there because there's no branch you could use to get up."
The tree only had three branches and they were really far off the ground. I could get up there, but I would need some help. I turn around when I heard my name. It was Zeena, she tag me as she tag Abby too. We got up and slowly walk across the line. When we reach the other side the girls huddle.

"I'm going to need one girl to come with me." I said quickly.
"I'll go!" Zeena said. I could tell Abby wanted to go, but she was too tired.
"Ok, then once you get the flag me, Jolene, and Abby will run across the line and distract the guys." Tracy said.
"Alright," I said. I grab Zeena arm and pointed to the ditch. "We're going to run to the ditch and hide there until there's no one in sight. And no one is there we'll run to the tree where you'll crunch down beside the tree and I'll jump off you and climb the tree." Zeena nod, I was surprise that Zeena was into capture the flag.

Sure she could flirt and be into lots of guys, but she was really into sports too. Tracy and Abby ran out across the line to distract the guys, then Zeena and I ran towards the ditch. When we got there Zeena was jumping in joy.
"Man! It feels like halo when a monster jumps out and try to kill you." I smile at Zeena and then nag her to run.

We ran and then crouch down so no one could see us. Zeena got up quickly and ran towards the tree. She crouch beside the tree and wave her hand at me to hurry up. I took five big steps away from Zeena and then ran as fast as I could. I lifted my right leg and jump off Zeena, grabbing on to the closet branch. Both of my hands were on a branch. Zeena stood up and push my feet up. I quickly climb on the branch, I wanted to rest but I couldn't. I stood up and grab the flag between the branch.

"Move out the way Zeena." Zeena moved away from the tree.
I bent my knees and then jump off without any help with the branches. The guys notice us now and were running after us now. Tracy, Abby, and Jolene were crossing the line so we ran. Zeena went in front of me and got caught. I ran around a tree to block the guys. I ran and almost trip when I twisted around when Ske try to tag me.
Abby was right by me now and push me towards Jolene, who push me towards Tracy. I was almost there at the line, I ran and then shouted.
"I got the Flag!!" I cross the line and stop to see the same guy who caught me.
"I got the flag." He said as he lifted the flag.

Everyone stop and watch what had just happen. Mrs. Steward laugh and shouted.
"It's a tie!" She announce out loud. Everyone on both team shouted and cheer. "This the first time in history that anyone had gotten a tie. Great game campers! Lets all go and reset at the camp fire ground."
The guy and I was still looking at each other in the eye. How in the world did he get the flag down? I set the flag all the way up in the tree, making sure they couldn't get it down.
Mrs. Steward came by to get the flags, I handed her the flag. She patted my back and left, the guy walk up to me and extended his hand out.
"That was a great game. So what's your name?" I couldn't believe he was actually thinking he could get my name.

"I'm not telling you." I said in a mean way.
"Hey now, don't be mean 'cause I manage to get the flag down. You are not the only one who could climb trees." The guy had a smirk.
"And what's your name?" I ask.
"I'm not telling if you're not telling." He cross his arm across his cheats.
Everyone was getting ready to leave for the camp fire ground. Jolene and Zeena were flirting again with Zizi, Ske, and Yuke.

"Ok, then I'll just give you a name. How about "Cranky apple"? Do you like that, I think I do." I said. It was a weak name, but that was the first thing that came to thought.
"Then your name is monkey." He pull his ears out and blow out his cheeks to look like a monkey. "Makes sentences right? Because you like climbing trees."
"Whatever, come on Zeena, Jolene we have to get going now." I said in a mad voice that they didn't even stop for a second to wave good-bye.

After dinner and of telling scary stories everyone went to their cabinets to get ready to sleep. I couldn't sleep at all, with all the noises outside and I couldn't get that jerk Cranky apple out of my head, for some reason he really irritates me. There was something about him that made me uncomfortable.
Soon my eyes started to hurt like when you open your eyes in the bleach water too long it starts to sting. I shut my eyes tightly and slowly drifted to sleep.
