Amazing Award Winning Software Lets Kids Make Their Own Fun Movies

If you haven't yet heard about Xipster Fullstop, I suggest you fasten your seatbelt, because the sky's the limit for this amazing product. Xipster FullStop, full featured, classic, stop-action animation allows kids to make amazingly, fun movies with toys, clay or any household product.

Xipster FullStop can be used with PC-Windows or Macs. Personally, I think this is one of the most fun, stop-motion software especially for the young or adult beginner and for education-schooling environments. The interface is very user-friendly, colorful, & interactive. And how cool is this? You can actually perform an instant preview at any stage of your animation - just like the pro's do! In addition, you can instantly insert sound effects, music, voice, etc. Within the Xipster program, you can also instantly export movies as QuickTime. For Educators, Xipster has a website devoted to that at XOW.COM. As I said previously, this is probably the most "Fun" stop motion program for kids or beginners.

As if the aforementioned features weren't impressive enough, Xipster FullStop was recently named a Gold Award winner in the 2006 National Parenting Publications Awards (NAPPA) Children’s Products competition. Full results were announced Nov. 1, 2006, in more than 40 regional parenting magazines across the country and online at Parenthood.com. This distinction recognizes Xipster FullStop as a standout among the best toys, books, DVDs, software & video games, music and spoken-word recordings available for children today.

Now in its 16th year, NAPPA is a well-known name in industries focused on children’s learning and entertainment. Time-starved parents and adults who want high-quality children’s toys and products that provide "smart fun," good design and grow with children’s developmental needs rely on the newly-released list of NAPPA winners for holiday and year-round gift-giving.

"NAPPA-winning products meet the most stringent criteria and are judged by nationally recognized industry experts, educators, reviewers and advocates in their fields," says NAPPA Manager Barbara Smith Decker. "NAPPA has set the industry standard of excellence for more than 16 years and the award is a much-sought honor by manufacturers, recording artists, publishers and product designers. When parents see the NAPPA Gold or Honors seal on winning products, they’re assured a safe, fun and educational experience for their children."

Ellen Metrick, a toy industry veteran of over 20 years specializing in product development, judged NAPPA’s toy entries. Metrick had this to say about Xipster: "Xipster FullStop is tops when it comes to empowering kids and unlocking their creativity. For parents who grew up with some of the early classics in ‘stop-motion’ animation - Santa Claus Is Coming to Town, Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Davey and Goliath, to name a few - and wondered how it was done, Xipster answers the mystery and puts a powerful set of PC and Mac video and digital capture tools in the hands of our kids. The interface is easy to learn and use, allowing kids to quickly start creating their own stories and producing their own animations. Xipster is the perfect tool for today's media-savvy kids who want to grow up and make movies or produce games."

"The Xipster product line was developed for the family and educator dedicated to using technology-based toys to inspire kids with open-ended, stimulating play," says XOW!’s CEO Jeff LeBarton. "Our company was established to deliver animation-making tools that stimulate storytelling in ways that video games and electronic gadgets cannot."

The Xipster product line includes two main products: FullStop is for children ages (5-9), and FreeStyle is for children ages (10-12).

Xipster FullStop was also the recipient of the Preferred Choice Award in the "2005 Top Creative Toy Awards." The Creative Toy Award is issued each year by Creative Child Magazine.
