Alone Always And Again

Lonely....as simple as it gets really
This feeling is so overgrown,
Unattended and left alone,
I can’t see any love being shown,
No-one on the end of the telephone,
There’s no-body I can think to call,
It’s like being stood in an empty hall,
The only company is your own voice,
I tell you if I could make a choice.

I would choose to be held by someone,
Someone who was there for times gone,
And for the times that are ahead,
I would hear your voice instead.

I want someone who could support me,
Someone who makes me feel free,
Instead of prisoned in my lonesome mind,
Because life alone is the worst kind.
