If you are consuming aloe vera juice for relieving constipation, then consume it daily for 5 days. Take a gap of 2 days and then again consume it for another 5 days. Follow this procedure till you are completely fine. But, if you are suffering from chronic constipation, then it is advised to drink aloe vera juice daily forever. Candida fungal infection in the digestive tract causes chronic constipation. The anti fungal properties present in aloe vera work to stymie the candida, which thus helps in the smooth functioning of the digestive tract. Pregnant women should avoid aloe vera juice for constipation, as it might have negative side effects.
Aloe vera juice helps in the promotion of bowel movements, and thus relieves constipation. Also, aloe vera has a beneficial effect on the colon, in order to reduce constipation. It maintains a balance by restoring the number of healthy bacteria. In order to relieve constipation, you can mix apple juice with aloe vera juice before consuming it. If you do not like apple juice, then you can use juice extracted from other fruits. Make sure that you mix pure and fresh aloe vera gel with the fruit juice. But, the best remedy for relieving constipation is to drink only aloe vera juice. For extracting the juice, make use of a fresh, thick and fleshy aloe vera leaf. Another option is drinking peppermint tea along with aloe vera, which is also helpful in reducing constipation. You can also take aloe vera along with calmative herbs like turmeric. You can drink this juice before sleeping, or in the morning, immediately after waking up. This was all about aloe vera juice benefits.
Apart from using aloe vera juice for constipation, you can use aloe gel. If you are having aloe gel, then you can have 2 tablespoons per day. 5 quarts of aloe vera juice can be consumed per day, while 5g of aloe vera concentrate can be taken, thrice a day. In order to avoid recurrence of constipation, make sure that you eat a lot of fibers. For increasing the amount of fibers, you can also have fiber supplements.
