All the Possibilities - Chapter 1
A new story that has been in my mind for a while, it's a vampire story. This is just the beginning. It gets so much better though, I promise.
Its freezing cold outside and all I have on is a tight, short black dress, which fits my curves just right. Its getting pretty late and I know, I should be with Maya right, since one day I plan on being her Protector. I just couldn't stand being at that party, I mean don't get me wrong I love to party, just not at a vampire party. I have nothing against them, it's just that they look down on us and don't think we're not civil for half breeds or what they call us, "Living Vampires".
I'm just trying to get home fast, so I can go to sleep, Maya and I have class tomorrow and unlike her I need sleep like a normal person. She only sleeps 2 hours each night, I don't know what I would have done if I had to go through that.

I awoke in the middle of the night to the sound of giggling and cursing, and I already knew who it was... Maya. Whispering to Maya angrily, "Could you be quiet?" Didn't help because I knew she wasn't listening.
"So what are you up to?" She questioned, and I quickly glanced her up and down and already knew she was drunk. She was swaying side to side with a dazed expression.
"Are you drunk?"
She looked so guilty at that moment, and I knew she hated lying to me.
"Yes"
"So, what are we supposed to do? You know that alcohol makes you thirsty."
She took a minute to think, "I'll just wait until morning."
"You already had your drink for the next 3 days, you won't get to feed until then." It took her a moment to realize this.
"What am I supposed to do?" She said, getting all panicky.
"Drink from me."
She looked saddened when I said this. "Jaci you know I can't do that, what if you get addicted?"
I knew, I would never get addicted, since I've done it before, but only by Maya when we were on a down to life or death situation for her. When you get bit, it's a weird feeling so hard to explain. You feel this sharp pinch and then this amazing feeling goes through you and all your worries seem to disappear into the darkness.
The bad thing about this you can get addicted, and we call them "Bloodsuckers". Usually they are half breeds that become addicted, since we don't drink blood or be bloodsuckers for school or families. We do have powerful blood though, better than humans and vampires because it gives you much more energy.
"You always come first though." She still had sad eyes, but knew it was her only choice.
As soon as her fangs made contact with my neck, I had a bliss overwhelming feeling, that made me not want it to stop but she had to end it soon. I still had a good feeling afterward but rather dizzy. So I just laid my head down to at least get some sleep for one night.
