The split was confirmed Wednesday and it has been reported that A-Rod’s wife Cynthia, 32, believes that the friendship between her husband and Madonna, 49, is something more than a friendship. A source said, "She doesn’t believe they are just friends. Something deeply suspicious is happening. Cynthia did leave because she is sure this is all true." The split comes just three months after the birth of the couple’s second daughter. There has even been a reported that Rodriguez was with Madonna shortly after the birth of their second child. The source said, "Alex literally left 10 minutes after the baby was born, and then was at Madonna’s. It’s true. It’s crazy."
Rumors of an affair between the Yankee and the Material Girl have been heating up lately. It has recently reported that Rodriguez has been making "late night visits" to Madonna’s apartment in Central Park West in New York City. He also attended the one of her concerts in New York on April 30 and Madonna brought her kids to a Yankee’s game on June 22. Madonna’s rep has repeatedly denied the affair rumors and said that Madonna and Guy Ritchie, her husband of 8 years, are still together and very happy.
In a weird twist, Cynthia Rodriguez is reportedly staying with rocker Lenny Kravitz, 44. He has denied rumors that they are having an affair and said, "There is absolutely no affair between Cynthia Rodriguez and myself. This is equivocally 100% not true." Kravitz added that Cynthia is a "friend" and that she is there with A-Rod’s trainer, his wife, and their baby. Kravitz said, "She came here to escape from everything in New York City. I opened my home to her as a friend and I find it extremely hurtful that I am now being referred to as an adulterer." Kravitz and Madonna were romantically linked in the 90’s. Madonna, Kravitz, and Rodriguez all share the same manager, Guy Oseary.
