Alex Chapter 9

Chapter 9:
"Dammit!" I screamed out.
"What's wrong?" my mother said coming out of her bedroom.
'What the hell? how could you let him take him, Mom?" I said.
'Take whom?" she asked as she came towards me.
"Elih. she took him. that Fucking bitch." I said.
Elijah grabbed his jacket.
"I'm a fix this. Don't worry, hell be back by tomorrow." he said.
Tears sprang out of my eyes and I couldn't breathe. my mother took me in her arms and led me to the couch. she muttered that everything was going to be okay. I didn't argue. I didn't have the strength to. I started to sneeze and cough.
"Oh god. you got caught in the rain. let's get you a towel." my mom said. she grabbed the nearest one and passed it to me. Without hesitating I put it around my shoulder. my nose was running and I was sure I looked like a mess.
A few days later:
I couldn't take it anymore. My baby wasn't in my arms and I felt empty. I didn't want to go to Elijah's house to get him back cause I didn't want to do some damage and maje it harder for me to get him back.
Someone opened the door and slammed it.
"Hey," Elijah called out. I came out of my bedroom and froze.
Elijah stood in front of the door with Elliot in his arms.
"Mommy!" Eli shouted. he giggled and then jumped to the floor. He ran to me and gave me a bear hug. I hugged him tight.
"How?" I asked.
"She gave up. Eliott wanted to be with you. Nobody else but you." he said. Elijah walked up to me and ruffled his hair. I got on tippy toes and gave him a peck on the lips.
"I love you," I said without thinking.
"I love you, too" he said giving me his wicked grin.
