Air travel has become very popular in recent years. There are many old and new carriers and cargo companies that capitalize on this market. This, in turn, has naturally led to the creation of many new jobs within the civil aviation industry. The expansion of the industry and market is great for any economy and hence, many domestic as well as international carriers now have established their offices in major cities around the world. They also have exclusive airline jobs and recruitment centers in these cities, via tie ups with a number of travel agents. The airline industry has great job opportunities for IT and IATA professionals.

The ground staff at the airline offices or at the various domestic and international airports offers services in customer-care – online and offline, accounting and ticketing and sales and data-entry. The airline companies deal with a lot of information, designed to offer improved service and survive competitions. The competition is stiff and only the best make a mark within the open sky policy.
