Afraid of the Dark
The Darkness is all around me...The pain and the hurt...that eats away at me.
Devoured by the darkness;
the pain want let me go.
Trying to find my way again,
but the darkness seems to have no end.
Wanting so bad to see the light of day;
but the pain keeps me locked up forever away.
The hurt from my pain eats away at my soul;
death has become my biggest goal.
Why do I always find myself in the same trap;
Why do I bend until I'm forced to snap?
Why want the pain just go away;
Why can I not seem to find my way?
Why am I afraid of the darkness that surrounds me;
Why want the torment just let me be?
Why through the darkness can I not see:
Why am I so afraid when in the darkness is only me?
