Affirmative Action 1

A poem about the why we need affirmative action…
Black people have been fucked around
Since Lincoln set slaves free
White racists in America
Refuse to let black people be

Poor northern whites hid slaves until
A ransom they were paid
Free black men and their families were
Sent back and hanged in picnic's shade

Lynching was by law ok,..
Black folks were hanged most every day;..
Look back to 1922,...
The Tulsa massacre is you!

Surviving blacks spread out and tried,..
To keep white people satisfied;...
Butlers, cooks and garbage men
Chauffeurs, gardeners, maids and then
They send their kids to school to learn
That it's ok that niggas burned!!

Hatred is our faceless foe
The less we see,
The more we know
