Affiliate Marketing in the Forex Niche

We have seen more and more people try their hand at forex trading in the last few years because a lot of people are desperate to make some extra money. However the sad reality is that most people actually end up losing money. So should you forget about forex trading altogether? Well not necessarily because you can still make a substantial risk-free income from forex trading, as I'm about to explain.

The key is to put yourself on the other side of the fence and promote forex products to aspiring traders. You can do this through affiliate marketing. This is basically where you promote various products and/or services online and every time someone clicks on your affiliate/referral link and buys a product you earn a certain amount of commission as a reward.

For example if a company is selling a $1000 forex course and pays 30% commissions to it's affiliates, then you will obviously earn $300 for every sale that you generate through your affiliate link.

Similarly if a forex broker pays $100 for every trader that opens an account with them after clicking through to their site from your affiliate link, then you would earn $1000 just by referring 10 traders and a very impressive $10,000 by referring 100 traders.

Now obviously you do still need to put the work in. If you're going to make big money then you need a decent website or blog which gets plenty of traffic. It also helps if you build an email list as well so you can promote these various offers to a captive audience.

All this takes time but it's certainly not impossible as I've discovered myself. You should find that as long as you provide good quality content and build links to your site continuously, then you can make some serious money as an affiliate.

The great thing about this business model is that you can start creating your first website or blog without needing very much starting capital at all. In fact all you really need is a web hosting account to host your website or blog and an auto responder account if you want to build an email list. You could even use a free blog which requires no money at all, but I would always recommend you at least invest in a good quality web host so you have complete control over your website.

Once you are up and running you can then focus on getting as much traffic to your site as possible so you can start generating some affiliate commissions. You should find that not only is this a lot less stressful than trying to trade forex yourself, but it can also be just as profitable.
