Advice for great wedding photography’s
Some advice for those needing photographers for their wedding, but can’t afford to hire a professional photographer.
The best advice I could give for great wedding photography’s is to hire professional photographers. There are however reasons, often monetary, that we can’t get a professional photographer.
If you are stuck with using friends or family as photographers you should make sure they are prepared. They could easily prepare themselves by asking to assist a professional photographer. Most would accept someone to come along to learn if they do it for free, and of purpose of learning. So please; do not ask for money to learn from professionals. The first time they join the photographer should be for pure observations, to learn where he put himself, when he take pictures and other important parts. It might also be wise to be a part of preparations, as preparations are important to get great pictures. The photographer should know where he should be positioned, when the events are going too happened and so on.
It might also be wise to join the photographer a second time to practice taking some pictures for yourself. This time for free too of course, but it will help to build some confident and experience.
As a third part your friend or family member could volunteer to take pictures as a wedding for free. It shouldn’t be hard to put out a advertising in the newspaper that they are taking pictures for free to gain experience.
It might also be a good tip to use two photographers; one to catch the bride and grooms main events, and one to catch those small impulsive happenings with the guests. It might be great having a close up from guests being in love, or shedding some tears of happiness.
As mentioned above: the photographer should have knowledge on everything prior the knowledge; every event and every location should be prepared. There is nothing that can substitute knowing where to be located before getting the pictures.
It is also important to bring backup to everything, extra batteries, extra camera, and lots of memory and so on. There is nothing to save you if the batteries should stop working, or you run out of memory. There is no chance to reschedule the wedding, the only way to be completely prepared is to have backup.
Once the photography’s are taken there should be made a lots of backup of them as well, both on CD’s, DVD’s, USB drive, external hard drive and all other possibilities you have. There is no ways go back to get pictures after you got them.
