Acne Treatments Antibiotic: Does It Work?

Most acne antibiotics don’t work and even can make your acne worse in the long run. Discover the truth the drug companies won’t tell you.
If you are planning to use Clindamycin, Tetracycline and Minocycline to cure your acne then believe me you have taken one of the most expensive and at the same worst decision regarding your acne. Most dermatologists don't think twice before prescribing antibiotic acne treatments to your patients but they don't bother to them the truth. The truth being, acne antibiotic treatments don't work in the long run, they end up making acne worse, they ruin the general health.

The truth that most people don't know is antibiotics do help, but only in the initial phase but in the later phase it simply stops working. And what's more, it can actually aggravate your present acne condition. The reasons for this strange behavior being antibiotics kill the acne bacteria in the first phase. This in any way is a very small part in the big picture. But it is not possible to kill the acne bacteria completely. They keep coming back. My article on acne bacteria explains it all. Acne bacteria are in fact living organisms and they are in some ways beneficial to the skin. But what is worse is, this killing of acne bacteria only force them to mutate and grow resistant to the antibiotics in the long run, thus in the later phases the antibiotics stop affecting the acne bacteria in anyway.

But there is a far more serious issue with acne antibiotic treatments. Did you know that finally not only your acne but your health as well will be worse off due to these antibiotics? The antibiotics not only kill the acne bacteria but they kill even the good bacteria in the body. These good bacteria like the acidophilus, bifidobacteria help the body with the digestive process and also in fighting with bad bacteria, parasites and various fungal infections that affect the liver. The digestive system and the proper functioning of the liver are very important for the health of the skin. By compromising on these two vital functions the antibiotics end up worsening the acne in the long run.

In short, we need a healthy digestive system and a healthy liver to keep the acne at bay but the acne antibiotic treatment harm these two vital functions in the long run and make the acne worse than before. And even the little work that antibiotic acne treatments do namely killing the acne bacteria that too done is done for only a short while. Acne antibiotic treatments can never be the solution for acne. The best and permanent way to cure acne is by adopting the holistic approach that eliminates acne from within.
