About Me & You
I wrote this poem when I was going out with this guy who honestly was absolutely everything that I could ask for. My true love. Being with him was great as we shared common interests & basically everything together until one day he left me for my friend.
What A douche, right?
He dreams of soccer,
She dreams of a song,
He can move mountains,
She's not that strong.
She laughs at the way,
He answers his phone,
He laughs at her jokes,
So she's not alone.
She loves the beach,
He loves the pool,
But she doesn't mind,
Coz she thinks he's cool. \par
He likes when she kisses him,
Gently on his lips,
She likes how he forgives her,
Even when she annoys him to bits.
But everything matters,
When he holds her hand,
When he talks to her,
And she understands.
To one another,
They give their heart,
And there's nothing in this world,
That could tear them apart.
