Ablaze in Passion 8

Things change dramatically, but why? Hi Guys. This is a shorter chapter then usual, but don't fret there is more to come! Ashy
Bianca finally worked up the courage and left her room to stroll down to the second floor in search of the library. She loved reading, could lose herself in a book. But at Luxembourge Manor she had never really had the time to read, let alone enter the small library they had (she swore that no one even knew she could read). For the third time that day it felt like Bianca had walked into a dream, the library wasn’t just an ordinary library, it seemed like she had walked into a library belonging in the main town square, which would hold all the original copies and old fragile books from years ago. There were long green chaise’s all around the library for the people who would take a book and most likely sit where they stood because they’d become completely absorbed in it moments after opening it up.

The windows were only half open, letting in a vague amount of light, which really made the setting seem quiet and mystical; like the dragons from the fantasy books were about to come firing their way through any moment. Bianca was lost amongst the shelves in a matter of seconds and sprawled out on one of the chaises, reading about a young girl like herself being swept away through time with a Man she stumbled across; Bianca loved to read about love and romance. She had completely forgotten about the time, until she heard the library door open and close. Glancing towards the windows she was suddenly aware that the sun no longer shone through and that she had been reading by the light of the wall candles around her.

She knew immediately she had missed dinner; startled that she had, she jumped up and lost her balance and fell backwards over the chaise with a squeal. Landing with a thump and narrowly missing the library shelves behind her; she was shocked when she heard strong male laughter. Just as quickly as she had fallen over the chaise she sprung back to her feet with a frown ready to tell the person exactly how rude they were being, but instead was shocked when she saw Lord Cassidy standing in front of her.
"I would have come and helped you up, but I just couldn’t stop laughing," he said when she was unable to supply words for a conversation,

Bianca stood there, then realizing she was gaping at him, dropped her gaze. She had been so stupid; of course she had been transferred to Lord Cassidy. Georgia had most definitely been right! He was just a Lord who wanted a roll in the haystack with a simple servant that he could throw away when he was finished with her. Well; Bianca thought, this is one girl you aren’t rolling with. Pushing her hair behind her shoulders, she picked up the book placed it back on the closest shelf and stormed out of the library. She found the closest set of stairs and started angrily stomping down them, she vaguely noticed Kobi out of the corner of her eyes as she swept passed and headed straight for the double doors in the entrance hall. She flung them open and continued on towards the gates only stopping when she was mere inches from them,

"Open the gates!" she yelled and added for good measure, "At once!"
But no one opened the gates for her,
"I demand you open the gates!" she yelled again,
The man from before peered over the edge at her,
"I’m sorry Lass, but I canna open these gates for nobody bu’ the Lord Cassidy,"
His slur over the words was strong but she got the drift,
"You can open the gates for someone who isn’t suppose to be here, now open them," she said as she indicated her hands towards the gates,
"I canna," he replied, shrugging his shoulders,

Bianca didn’t want to be anywhere near Lord Cassidy,
"I demand you release me at once! I am not a prisoner! I am free to do as I please!" Even as the words left her mouth she knew they were wrong. She wasn’t really free; if this was truly where she had been sent then she was going to stay. But, not without a fight she thought stubbornly.
"Bianca, he won’t open the gates, no matter how long you stand there demanding it," came his voice from behind her,
She ignored him and stayed staring at the gates,
"Is there something I did that causes you to detest me so?" he asked,

"It is nothing you did but what you think you will be doing," she said low enough for only her to hear,
"I didn’t quite hear you?" he said coming a little closer,
"Nothing My Lord, I didn’t reply,"
"Then perhaps you could leave poor Charlie to get back to his other duties rather then fret over you?"
Bianca looked towards the Man who had just been identified as Charlie,
"But I want to leave," she said to Charlie, not knowing if he could even hear her,
Charlie watched on from his high view point but didn’t say a word,
Bianca turned and walked away from the gates, and straight passed Lord Cassidy. But instead of heading towards the splendid room that had been given to her she went to find Kobi.
