Ablaze in Passion 12

"Unfortunately this is all you get," he replied. What will be Bianca's reaction?
He heard the small swish of the water in the tub and smiled, he quickly turned back to face her and was caught completely off guard when a flying piece of wet clothing struck him in the face, he stumbled back in shock as the scrunched up apron that had previously been tied around Bianca’s waist splatted to the floor. He looked up quickly when he heard more splashing from the tub, thinking that maybe she had decided to throw more clothing at him, but instead he watched astonished as she darted from the tub, leaving a long puddle in her wake and ran for the closed door. Chase jumped over the wet apron and made to cut her off, the feeling of catching her making him grin in anticipation. Bianca turned her gaze to him just as she reached the door and opened her eyes in shock, he was moving fast; too fast for her to escape. She attempted to change her direction at the last minute but her feet being too wet caused her to slip and loose her footing, she screamed as the floor came rushing up towards her but was caught easily in his arms. He looked a little worried as he righted her, but it vanished when he saw she was okay.

"Bianca, I can’t possibly let you go running around the castle soaking wet; you could catch a chill,"
"Then leave and let me bathe in private," she replied stubbornly,
He didn’t move and Bianca turned huffily and made her way back to the tub. She stopped when she was standing just in front of it and turned to him,
"Can i please have someone help me undo my ties?" she said not looking at him,
Chase smiled, of course she could. He walked deliberately towards her and watched as her eyes opened in what looked like shock, mixed with anticipation. He came to a stop in front of her, and she glanced away from him.
"I can be of some assistance," he said to her, and he slowly reached out his hands to turn her. She suddenly looked up at him, a wide smile covering her face. Chase was a little taken aback at the sudden change in her but the thought rushed from his mind when she planted both her palms firmly on his chest and pushed him; clothes and all into the tub.

Bianca didn’t stay to watch Lord Cassidy’s reaction to being pushed into a tub full of water; she turned away quickly and dashed from the room. She couldn’t help but laugh aloud at the sheer absurdity of what had just happened. She, Bianca McAllister had just shoved a Lord into a tub of water, but not before throwing a sodden apron at his head. She knew deep down that she shouldn’t have treated someone like that, let alone a Lord; but he had deserved it. Trying to get her to bathe in front of him, who did he think she was! A slight draft wafted through the corridors sending a shiver up her spine, she had to find something to change into otherwise Lord Cassidy’s prediction of her catching cold would surely come to pass. Yet she knew she was unable to enter her room, as it was currently in the process of being cleaned. She smirked again. Perhaps she had begun to make Lord Cassidy regret his decision on bringing her here. Perhaps he had thought that all servants would bow down to his needs – he had thought wrong.

Another slight breeze blew through the corridors, and yet Bianca kept on walking. She started wondering what he had done after she had left. Most likely he had gotten out of the tub and dried himself in front of the warm fire that had been burning brightly in his chambers. She shivered, a warm fire would be perfect just about now. When she turned down yet another corridor she let out a groan. Her moment of victory had ebbed away; she was to frozen to think about anything. She stood there rubbing at her arms in the hope it might stave off the chills, but failed miserably. She turned back and retraced her steps, finding it quite easy as she had left a sopping trail. She faced the door she had formerly ran from and swallowed all her pride as she reached out and knocked quietly. She could hear the rustling followed by footsteps and then the door opened wide in front of her. Lord Cassidy stood there, she saw in fresh dry clothes. He stood in the opening looking down at her,
"I see you’ve returned," he said to her simply,
She cleared her throat,
"I’ve nowhere to go at this present time due to my chambers being cleaned, and i can’t wonder the corridors until it’s finished or I’ll freeze," she merely replied,
Lord Cassidy regarded her and stepped aside for her to enter.
