Ablaze in Passion 11

Things start to heat up... just a smidge
Bianca had angrily returned to her original chambers. She had slammed the door to make sure Lord Cassidy knew he had angered her and then bounced on her feet in nerves wondering if he would tolerate that behavior and have her beaten. When he hadn’t come to drag her away she settled down and sat on the bed. She couldn’t help but feel a little pleased at being in such a wondrous room, and she found that chasing the guilt away was easy. She could use this room, it was much MUCH closer to Lord Cassidy’s own chambers. It would make sneaking around a lot more easier. She grinned at the thought. For the time being she wanted to wait, until she knew Lord Cassidy would be out of the castle. Her smile quickly faded to nothing and she threw herself backwards onto the bed in dismay,

"What can I possibly do?" she said in frustration,
She rolled to her side and glanced around the room and her eyes stopped on the fireplace. Getting up she walked over towards it and leant in to look up into the darkness.
"Surely you’re meant to see some light," she said to herself,
She stepped back from it and gazed around the room for some kind of instrument to help her, having decided that she would try to clean it. Knowing that she couldn’t ask someone to fetch her something, she decided on the small scrub brush she had used when she had bathed. It wasn’t very big but it would do for now until she could find something longer and bigger to get further up inside.

Leaning back into the fireplace she set to work scrubbing at the walls; black soot was slowly coming away, and she felt very pleased with herself. After only a few moments however she had done all the area she could reach. Shrugging her shoulders she quickly pulled the small chair that was in front of the dressing table into the fireplace and climbed up onto it. She continued scrubbing until she hit a rather large hard lump, pulling her arm away she tried to see what she had hit,
"It must be a large bit of soot gone hard," she said to herself, and started to whack at it with the hard end of the brush. Suddenly it gave way and a large pile of soot fell to the floor in the fireplace,
"Better," she said to herself,

She climbed down from the chair and replaced it in front of the dressing table, and turned back to the fireplace. She frowned when she saw small puffs of soot continuing to fall from the inside. She took one step towards it and squealed in fright when a loud noise met her ears and an enormous pile of soot and dust exploded from the fireplace. She ducked to the floor and covered her head with her hands; she stayed like this for a few moments before getting to her knees. Coughing and spluttering she almost died at the sight. The entire room was covered in muck, black soot had exploded from the fireplace with such force that it had managed to reach the farthest part of the room. Bianca gulped, and jumped when her door flew open,
"Miss Bee I he-,"

Bianca turned to see Kobi standing wide eyed and mouth hung open at her door,
"My goodness, what happened?" she said in awe,
Bianca gazed half-heartedly around the room before looking back at Kobi,
"I tried to clean the fireplace," she mumbled,
"You tried what?" Kobi asked,
"To clean the fireplace," Bianca answered more loudly,
Kobi who hadn’t yet looked towards Bianca finally did, and burst into laughter. Bianca was mortified,
"Don’t laugh, I’ve destroyed this room! I’m going to be severely punished!" Bianca exclaimed in dismay,
Kobi however was now bent over in hysterics, holding her belly and wiping tears from her face.

"Stop it!" Bianca yelled and stomped one foot for effect, only to send a puff of smoke up around her; making Kobi break out in renewed delight.
"What’s going on in here?" came his voice, and both Kobi and Bianca quietened, though Bianca could see Kobi had to try extremely hard. Lord Cassidy appeared in the doorway, his eyes took in the room in silence and then he looked to Bianca,
"Kobi, might I suggest we organize a cleanup and a warm bath sent to my chambers,"
"Yes Chase," Kobi replied before skipping away merrily,
Bianca who had been standing in the same position for what felt like hours finally couldn’t take it any more. She burst into tears.

"I’m so sorry M-My Lord, I was o-only trying to clean your fi-fireplace,"
"Bianca," he said but she didn’t take notice,
"I un-derstand if you have to - to p-punish me," she continued through sobs,
"Bianca," he said again,
"And also i-if you have to send m-me to a j-jail,"
Lord Cassidy stood there watching her, she was not taking in one word he said. He strode into the room and swept her up into his arms, Bianca not quite managing to hide her squeal of surprise. He turned and made his way out of the corridor and towards his own chambers,

"Bianca please stop your tears," he said as he stepped into his rooms,
She only burst into renewed sobs. Chase had no idea how to make her stop,
"Bianca you’re being silly now,"
She gulped and ignored him,
Chase turned and watched as the last boy left the room after finishing filling the tub, and he took two long strides before dumping her unceremoniously into the water. Bianca cried out in shock, and pulled herself half out of the water, whilst swiping her soaked hair from her face.

"What did you do that for!" she yelled at him, all thoughts of tears and fear gone,
"So you would stop crying," he replied simply, "Now that you have i suggest you clean yourself,"
Bianca struggled under the weight of her clothes and got to her feet,
"How dare you!" she said to him, thinking about the time those exact words were yelled at her, "I’m in all my clothes!"
"If you don’t want to undress yourself, I’ll do it for you," he stepped forward, a wicked grin spreading across his face,

"No!" Bianca squeaked, all anger ebbing at his words, "I’ll do it myself,"
Chase stepped back to lean against his drawing table, Bianca stared at him,
"Could I have some privacy please," she said to him, with a little sarcasm,
Chase raised his eyes at the tone, and then turned on the spot to face away from her.
"That’s not what I meant," she said to his back,
"Unfortunately this is all you get," he replied.
