Ab Rocket Review

Does the Ab Rocket exerciser really work? Here is the answer...
If you ever watch TV you must have stumbled upon an infomercial for the Ab Rocket exerciser. If you haven't then you've missed a great promotion with many highly attractive men and women, all with flat abs, who claim they got their sexy stomachs by using the Ab Rocket.

The Ab Rocket is an exercise machine for the abdominal muscles. It works with special bands which provide resistance for your crunches. It can also be stowed away safely under your bed or in your closet.

The Ab Rocket costs around $100.

But does the Ab Rocket work? Can it deliver on its promises?

In my opinion it can't and I'll explain why.

To get flat abs, it isn't all that important to have strong muscles. What is important is to lower your abdominal fat down as much as possible. You see, we all have the basic six-pack structure of our ab muscles. It's how we're built. However, most of us also have a layer of fat sitting between the muscles and our skin.

It is this layer of fat that's stopping our muscles from showing up nicely. It is the fat that prevents us from having a flat stomach. To put it simply, burn off the fat and get flat abs. Stick to doing just abs exercises, and that six pack will never show.

But burning belly fat can be done by doing crunches with the AbRocket, right?

Wrong!

Burning off fat from a specific body part is totally impossible. You just can't do it. We burn fat from all over our body or not at all. It's how we work. If you do just stomach exercises, you're actually not burning off body fat. To do so you need to workout right and eat right.

To burn off body fat in general and belly fat in particular you need to workout your entire body, cardio and strength, and to eat a balanced, fat burning, diet.

Since the Ab Rocket exerciser doesn't workout your entire body, it is simply not enough to produce the kind of fat burning process you want to lose belly fat and tone up nicely. It simple doesn't work. At least, I don't see how it can work.

In my mind, you're better off getting an all around abs program than the AbRocket.
