Aaron Carter Engaged
Singer Aaron Carter has proposed to his girlfriend Kari Ann Peniche while onstage at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

Carter, 18, reportedly popped the big question Saturday after pulling Peniche onstage in front of 200 people during a performance of the Playboy Hollywood Comedy Tour. Peniche, 22, said, "I’m very excited. Aaron is the most genuine person I know. He’s kind, loving, and I love him so much." Carter’s original plan was to marry Peniche in a Vegas chapel, but apparently changed his mind and just proposed. The two are said to be planning to tie the knot sometime within the next six months.
Of the proposal, Peniche reportedly said, "I don’t remember it happening. It was such a blur. I had no idea he was going to do this, but I’m glad he did." Peniche and Carter have only been dating for a short time. Playboy tour producer and comedian Cort McCown reportedly said of Carter, "He said he was going to do it, but we thought he was kidding." McCown also said that Carter was "really nervous." The two only recently began dating And Carter father, Bob, said, "I heard he got married, then I heard he only got engaged. I don’t have a clue."
Peniche was named Miss Teen USA in 2003, but lost her title after she posed for Playboy for the November 2004 issue. She later appeared on the Hoard Stern show and almost bared it all. Carter and his siblings are set to appear in the own reality show House of Carters. The show will air debut next month on E! and will feature Carter, his older brother Nick (who reportedly previously dated Peniche), his twin sister Angel, and sisters Bobbie Jean and Leslie living under one roof as they each try and navigate their lives.
