Aaron Carter Arrested
Pop singer Aaron Carter was reportedly arrested Thursday for possession of marijuana after being pulled over for speeding.

Carter, 20, was reportedly pulled over for speeding in Junction, Texas Thursday around noon. After cops pulled Carter over they reportedly found less than two ounces of marijuana in his Cadillac Escalade. He was arrested on suspicion of drug possession. According to Kimble County Sheriff Mike Chapman Carter was alone in the car at the time of his arrest. He remained jailed as of Thursday night and was set to be arraigned on Friday morning.
Carter, the younger brother of Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys, shot to fame in the late 90’s as a pop and hip hop artist. He is most famous for allegedly dating Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan at the same time causing a huge rift between the two. Carter released four studio albums "Aaron Carter," "Aaron’s Party (Come Get It)," "Oh Aaron," and "Another Earthquake." Carter has also done a little acting and has appeared on Lizzie Maguire, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and 7th Heaven. He also appeared in Seussical the Musical on Broadway in April 2001.
He also appeared alongside his siblings in the reality show House of Carters. Carter, big brother Nick, twin sister Angel, and sisters Leslie and BJ spent several months living in the same house while trying to get their careers on track. Carter has reportedly been producing his own music and that of other artists. He reportedly has a single in the works called "Ride It." In September 2006 it was reported that Carter had gotten engaged to Playboy playmate Kari Ann Peniche. Days later it was reported that the two had broken off their engagement. It has been rumored that Carter is dating singer Kaci Brown.
