A Witch's Destiny - Ch. 4
Diane meets face to face with...
"Supper was great. You sure can pick the good ones." Diane laughed.
"Just for you, baby." he gave her a big hug.
They're walking down the street, nearly ten at night.
"This is giving me the creeps. We shouldn't be walking this late." Diane muttered.
"We're witches. We're safe." Brad laughed.
"I know, but I have this feeling that something is following us." Diane whispered. "Don't you feel it?"
Brad stopped and looked around, seeing nothing but darkness and faint street lights.
Suddenly, out of the dark ally something grabbed Diane. She tried to squirm away, but it's to slick.
"Brad!" she yelled.
He quickly turned around and headed towards Diane. Another figure appeared and attacked Brad. He dodged punches, kicks, swings. Then another figure approached him and hit him in the back of the head.
"Brad!" Diane shouted.
The grip tightened and Diane cried out.
One of the figures moved towards Diane, and he walked into the light; the guy from the dream.
"Hello again." his deep voice said.
Diane couldn't believe her eyes, she never expected to meet him this soon.
"After meeting you in person, you really don't look like a witch, but they're different this day and age." Then the guy went near Brad and kicked him.
"Leave him alone!" Diane shouted.
The guy looked up and smiled, "Feisty. Maybe the witches picked a good one after all. You don't look half bad, for a witch."
Diane wanted to puke after that comment. Then the constriction tightened again.
"Now, now. Behave my little pet."
Diane looked down and saw a muscle flex, the skin smooth and scaly, a snake, a purple snake.
"What are you going to do with me!" she shouted.
The guy smirked, "You'll see."
That made her shiver.
"Let's take them back to base." A purple shadow guy picked Brad up and they proofed away in purple dust.
