A Witch's Destiny-ch.3
Diane has a dream; Diane meets Brad and going help...
Running, all she can do to get away. Diane turned around and saw the darkness spread. Her heart pounding so hard that she started to have breathing troubles.
"You can't run forever witch. You'll go like the rest of them; to hell." a dark voice said.
Diane kept running, avoiding obstacles in her way. She sees a faint light flicker ahead, but it seems to be out of reach.
"I'll never give up!" she strongly said.
Laughter echoed everywhere, then Diane stopped instantly.
The darkness swept by her, bring chills and a hint of panic. Then a figure appeared in the darkness; tall, muscular, purple hair, and orange eyes.
"So you're the witch that supposed to bring hope to mankind. You're awfully young to be holding such a responsibility." his voice deepened.
"Say what you like, but I will stop the darkness no matter what." Diane yelled.
"This sounds like a challenge. I'm going to enjoy this." he chuckled.
Diane woke up from her dream, wiping away sweat from her eyes. Her heart rate gradually slowing down, and she glanced at her wrist watch; six o'clock.
She flung her legs off the couch and opened the fridge, grabbing a bottle of water. Then she walked out of the room and headed to Thomas's office, but something feels comforting, like something in me is warm and safe. Brad!
She sprinted to the office door and opened it. Thomas is talking to another guy with red eyes; his friend. Erika sat in a chair with a woman, chatting away. Then somebody grabbed Diane and lead her outside.
"Hey love." said Brad.
"I'm so happy you're here. How did you manage to avoid your mission?" Diane asked.
"I didn't. My mission is to find a red-eyed vampire from Snipe City to help with your mission. I was shocked but I kept my emotions to myself until I left the room." his grip tightened around Diane.
"I'm glad you're helping me, makes me feel safe."
"Why would you say that for? We don't know how the world may end." he said.
"Well, I had a dream earlier about the darkness, the witches told me to watch my dreams."
"How your dream went?"
Diane explained the dream to Brad in great detail, with the figure and everything.
"Oh God!"
Diane and Brad both looked at each other and quickly went into the office. Thomas and the other man is protecting the women. The other side of the room is this purple alligator.
"It has begun!" Diane shouted. "The darkness."
The purple alligator snapped at them and the red-eyed vampire rushed towards it.
"Logan! Be careful!" the blond shouted.
Logan grabbed a hold of its back while the reptile trying to buck him off.
Brad grabbed a broomstick and started to beat the living shit out of it. The reptile seemed to die.
"What's going on?" Erika whined and Thomas hugged her.
"It's the darkness. It's becoming stronger, but how? If my dream serves me correctly that this guy is controlling it. But why?" Diane muttered.
"Control?" Thomas mumbled.
"Maybe." Brad intruded.
Diane stood there, thinking of all possibilities. What ifs? Then she became flustered.
"Diane, let me take you out for supper," Brad declared.
She smiled and said, "Sure."
"I think everyone needs to go out for a while." Thomas insisted.
Then Diane left with Brad.
