A Teenage Crisis - Chapter Five

Chapter 5- a bad dream...a hidden destiny?
Five

Dark hallways filled with water, almost like a sewer. A little boy was crying for someone. The water was churning and the little boy started screaming at the top of his lungs now. She turns the corner and finds the little boy. He is hurt, his face full of blood. He is with someone, someone who is covered in a dark robe. The boy fades away slowly and the dark robed figure steps up to Tinzy and tells her that her destiny was about to begin in a years’ time. Finally he unrobed his face and she saw that it was someone who looked like Jack only more gray and timely. It had to be Jack’s father. "Angel you have to help my son. He holds onto something very important, you mustn’t let the demons get to it. You have great power in you Angel. Only you can help win this war. Help Jack save the world. The price will be paid if the Archangel gets a hold of the piece. The Ritual of Sixes could only be performed if they have the piece that Jack possesses and you. Go Angel and complete what I ask of you. Go now before it is to late. I have faith in you. "

"But what exactly am I supposed to be preventing the demons from getting?"

"The symbol is dear to your ancestry, you will know it when you see it."

"Does Jack know about all of this?"

"Yes he does and he believes he could save the world by himself. Yet he doesn’t know it was you I was talking about. Be forewarned Angel, he cannot do this alone. Only with the help of you, an Angel, can you both defeat what is coming."

"But what about the Archangel? How do we defeat him?"

"That is up to you and Jack. By the way, watch your back." He touched her forehead. "With this I grant your blood the power to live. You have powers that your mother had and even more." Jack’s father flashed a smile and vanished. Tinzy heard a sound and turned around. Thousands of dead people were headed her way, she turned around and tried to find a way out of there. Wait, this was a dream she could just wake up. Jack could wake her up! The bodies where really close now ready to attack.

"Jack!" she screamed at the top of her lungs, "Jack wake me up!" a hand grabbed her arms and held her but she punched the body in the face she kicked it but got air. Her screams reverberated along the dark hall and…Tinzy woke up like a bolt, her hands flailed smacking something cold. Instantly something fell onto the floor next to the bed. She was sweating and was wondering where she was. Everything looked as enhanced as it did when you watched HDtv. But this was way cooler. She felt alive. Her brain felt as if it were an ancient book finally deciphered and all Tinzy had to do was close her eyes and open one of its pages of knowledge.

She also felt another presence in the room: A magical presence.

"Jack?" Tinzy whispered.

She heard a groan coming from the floor, "Yeah?" He got up and turned on the lamp from the bedside table. It was bright and Tinzy could see that his hair was sticking out in a weird way, proof that he had hit the sack hard.

"I had a bad dream."

"Yeah, it was quite obvious. You were talking in your sleep and moaning about something or the other. I came in and tried to wake you but you smacked me."

"Oh, well sorry. Did I hurt you?" she looked him over, and then sighed, "Come in the bed Jack. Please it will make me feel safer."

"Are you sure that is a good idea? I mean…" Jack stared at her.

"I know what you mean Jack. God you sound so pathetic at times."

"Oh, uh, yeah I guess I do."

"Come on."

"Tinzy I can’t get in the same bed with you."

"Why not?"

"Aren’t you scared I might rape you?" He mentioned.

"If you wanted to rape me, you would have done it already." She has a point there, Jack thought.

Jack climbed in the bed hesitantly. Tinzy could feel him tense up as she snuggled closer to him. "Wow you are so cold." Tinzy said.

"Oh, sorry."

"Its okay it’s not your fault." Tinzy grabbed both his hands and rubbed them between her own. For an instant he felt warmth, but it went away quick. "You should stop."

"I should but I can’t."

"Oh sorry, vampire magnetism. It goes into immediate effect every time a vampire is…." He let the sentence hang, the meaning known but not said. He moved as far away from her as he could. Jack looked into her eyes with wonder. "Wow your eyes. There so…nice."

"Oh, thank you." She whispered blushing.

He looked at her again and saw her eyes were focused on his mouth. "Do you have sharp teeth?"

He smirked, "They’re growing in. You want to see?" he opened his mouth to reveal pearly white razor sharp canines. They were not long but they were getting there.

"Jack, would you ever change me into a vampire?" That question popped out of her mouth like a demon from hell. He hesitated and looked her straight in the face. "No," he whispered.

"Tinzy, I mean, Tinselda, aren’t you scared of me? What if I jump you in the middle of the night?"

She hesitated before saying, "For some reason I trust you, and I trust you won’t jump me. And it is not the vampire magnetism that is making me say this." She laughed. Her stare found its way to his necklace. It was very old not to mention odd looking. It looked so familiar, where has she seen it before? Tinzy’s hands made its way to the necklace and when it made contact a strange sensation came over both of them.

Two Angels were falling from the sky. God is angry. He cast them down, into infinity. The Angels making love, the other gives a Necklace to one Angel. Two lovers and an affair lead to a murder. Jack’s dad hands the necklace to a young boy. The trance broke as soon as Tinzy let out a gasp of surprise.

"Tinzy, what the hell was that?"

"What do you mean?"
"I just saw things as soon as you touched my necklace. What just happened?"

"It was a vision." She left it at that, rolled over and turned off the light in silence. He stared at her and waited until she went to sleep. As soon as she was asleep, Jack got up and went to the sofa.
