Chapter 9

Halo's POV.

"Logan went back to stay at his parents house. After you left Haylie he was...depressed. He wouldn't eat, sleep, he wouldn't even talk to us. We tried but he ended up going back to his parents. He said he wanted to be alone so if I were you I would run to his house before its to late." My heart started to break again. Before she could finish her sentence I had run out the door.

"BI! I LOVE YOU!" I yelled behind me. I was running as fast as ever. I needed to be near him, to feel him. I longed for his kisses and his hugs. I wanted to see his smile again and hear his laugh. I want to see his eyes light up when he see's me. I pushed as hard as I could until I eventually got to his house. It looked the same as it had years ago. When we were friends we used to stay here for the summer. It was a basically a mansion. I ran up to the door and started to knock as hard as I could. It didn't open though.

"Come on Logan." I muttered. I knocked again but still no answer. Maybe-I turned the door handle and it was unlocked. God people really need to learn to lock their doors I mean anyone could break in as you can see. "LOGAN!" I yelled but heard no answer."LOGAN! ITS HAYLIE!" Still no answer. I ran up to his room my heart was beating a thousand beats per second. I was scared to see what was behind the door. I slowly opened it. I hadn't looked up yet but I closed the door. I looked up to see him leaning against the railing. My heart started to beat so fast.

"Logan." He slowly turned around. His face looked so lifeless. He looked so tired and his eyes looked dead for a split second. I almost cried. This is what I had done to him.

"Haylie." He whispered. He slowly walked into the room. I ran and jumped on top of him. I instantly pulled his lips to mine. For a second he didn't kiss me back but then he grabbed me and pulled me tighter against him. Our kisses became urgent and fierce. I traced his lips with my tongue and let me in instantly. I felt so complete. The pain went away the instant I touched him and now there was nothing but electricity flowing through us. We eventually pulled back. Our breath was raged. I got down from him and stood facing him.

"Oh god Haylie, I missed you so much." He brought his forehead to mine.

"I love you so much Logan. I'm so sorry."

I pulled his lips to mine once again. But this time I wasn't going to stop at kissing. I wasn't going to shy away. I needed him, I wanted him and I had to have him. I pulled him towards the bed. I started to undo the buttons on his shirt but he pulled back.

"Haylie. Are you sure?" His eyes looked like they had their life back again. I silenced him with another kiss. "Haylie?"

"I have never been more sure in my entire life."

This time he kissed me. I put my hands over my head and he pulled off my shirt. I continued where I had left off with his shirt. Each button getting my full attention. I slid it off his back. His body looked so good. He slowly undid my shorts just to make sure that I was OK with it and I was. I wanted to display myself to him. I wanted him to see all of me. I unzipped his jeans and pushed them down to his feet. I could feel his hardness against me. He slowly took off my bra and he gasped. I smiled and pulled him onto the bed. I nudge at his boxers and he willingly took them off and I slid my underwear off. His skin against mine made me feel so many things. My whole body was tingling with excitement and longing. He entered me. I felt nothing I had ever felt before. It felt like we were one. My whole body was filled with ecstasy. My body exploded with passion. We reached our climax and Logan screamed my name. I never knew that when you make love you that's what you actually do. Make love. I wanted it to last forever. I wanted to stay locked up in this room with him forever.

"I love you Haylie Carwin. I love you so much, words can't even describe." I smiled at him.

"I love you to. More than anything in this world." He kissed me long and passionately then pulled back.

"Don't ever, ever, ever leave me again. If you do I don't think I could even...." I could see how broken he was.

"Never, but you do have to make me a deal."

"What?"

"If you promise never to lie again I will never, ever leave you."

"I promise."

I kiss him and he starts to laugh. I kiss him again and again. Which eventually turns into round 2.

I wake the next morning to find two blue eyes staring into mine.

"Good morning beautiful." He whispers. I bring his lips to mine. I guess we haven't exactly cured my craving yet. "You know a guy only has enough energy and you kind of sucked all mine out all afternoon and all night." I pouted my lips. He laughed. "I missed that."

"Me too." It went silent for a moment.

"Haylie, I'm so sorry. I thought that you needed to see what a ass...he was. But if I knew that it would have driven you away from me I would have just told you and well...locked the door." I felt his grip tighten around me.

"It's okay. I'm glad I found out, well not really glad but you know what I mean."

"I love you."

"I love you to." He smiles and starts to kiss me again."I thought you didn't have any energy left." I said in between kisses.

"Well I just found some." We kiss more passionately when I hear someone calling my name downstairs. I pull back from him unwillingly. I listen closer and realize its Sky. I pull out of his hold only to be pulled back again. I start to giggle.

"Logan its Sky. I have to go see what she wants."

"No! Don't leave me!" He says in a whiny voice. I giggle.

"Do you really want her bursting in here while we are both naked?" He thought about that for a minute."Come on save her the embarrassment. Please?"

"Okay fine but as soon as your done you are to report right back here in my arms okay!" He says in a military voice.

"Yes Sir!" I salute. I start to laugh and crawl out of bed. I take his shirt and throw it over my head. It finishes about thirty centimeters above my knee so I pull on my underwear as well.

"I love that look on you." I start to blush.

"Good! because you going to be seeing alot of it in the next four years!" I give him one last kiss then walk out the door.

"HAYLIE! WHERE ARE YOU?!" Sky yells. I walk down the stairs to see her in the lobby.

"Sky I'm here. What is it?" Sky looks up at me and I see her face turn bright red. I start to giggle.

"Oh...ah...hey. You didn't come home last night and I just wanted to make sure that you didn't run away or anything."

"Well I haven't run away."

"Yeah. I...ah can see that." She starts to laugh then runs to my side."How was it? You have to give me full details!" She squealed.

"Um...first of all it was amazing! and second of all I'm not telling you anything!" I say with a giggle.

"Awww! Come on Halo!"

"Sky what did I say about Halo."

"Sorry, force of habit." Suddenly her face falls. "Um...Haylie the other reason why I came was because..." She trailed off.

"What Sky?"

"I'm really sorry to kill your complete happiness but its about Lexie." I closed my eyes and repeated in my head: DO NOT LOSE CONTROL! DO NOT LOSE CONTROL!

"What about Lexie." my voice had nothing but venom in it.

"Haylie she is in trouble. Look I know that you hate her and right now I do as well. I mean I never really did like her, she was a crappy friend but she called me last night and told me that Eric won't let her leave. Haylie she really needs you. " I contemplated for a minute.

"Where is she?"

"She's at his house."

"Wait here okay. I'll be down in about half an hour. Maybe more. Convincing Logan might be difficult."

"That's okay. Dave said that he is about one minute away."

I turned and walked back upstairs. The only reason I was doing this was because I wanted to kick Eric's ass!

LOGAN"S POV.

She crawled out of bed. I was so unwilling to let her go. I have to remind myself to kill Sky for ruining this moment for me. Her body looked so amazing! She looked so amazing. She grabbed my shirt and pulled it over her head. She was glowing.

"I love that look on you." I said and it was so true.

"Good! because you going to be seeing a lot of it in the next four years!" She said matter-of-factly. My body started to tingle just at the thought of it. Making love to Haylie every night will be nothing but heaven. Well my idea anyway. She kissed me one last time then walked out of the door. I felt nothing but happiness for the first time in a week. I couldn't function with out her. My body had shut down completely. I didn't eat, sleep or talk to anyone. And when she sent me that text message, what was left of my heart felt like it had been ripped out of me. But when I saw her come through the door yesterday afternoon I thought my eyes were deceiving me. Then she ran up and kissed me with so much passion my heart felt like it had been repaired. All the pain I had felt had disappeared like it was never there. Then she pulled me towards the bed. Last night became the best night of my entire existence. I longed for that night to happen and when it did it was like nothing I had ever felt before. In the midst of my day dreaming I heard the door open and shut. I lifted my head to see my beautiful girl standing there. When I saw her face it looked sad. I immediately thought she was going to leave me again but instead she ran to the bed and jumped in my arms. She kissed me then pulled back.

"Your not going to believe this but I sort of have to...go somewhere." I instantly tightened my grip around her.

"Ah no your not. I just got you back. Can't Sky do something with you another time." She didn't look at me.

"It has nothing to do with Sky." She took a deep breath."Its about...Lexie."

HALO'S POV.

I saw anger flash in his eyes."What about Lexie?" I didn't like this as much as he did but I had to do something. I couldn't sit back and watch.

"She is in trouble Logan. And before you say anything, i just wanted to say that yes I do know that she doesn't deserve my help but I am going to do it anyway because I have known her since I was four."

"What happened to her?"

"Its nothing honestly."

"Well if its nothing then you don't have to help her."

"Logan, I can't tell you."

"Why?"

"Because a) you won't let me go and b) you won't let me go."

"I knew it! I knew it had something to do with Eric."

"Logan please."

"No Haylie. I will not under any circumstances let you go near that creep, ever." I put my hand over his mouth.

"Logan will you just listen please. I have to go and help her okay. And I also have to go because I need to see Eric. This is something that I have to do and if you love me like you say you do then you will let me do this." He was silent for a moment.

"Fine but you can't use that excuse on me for a year." I smile at him. Even though its not the case to smile, I always love to win! "Haylie, I don't feel right about this."

"I know. I don't like it either but like I said I have to do it. I promise though that I will be as quick as possible and back in your arms before you know it!" I was actually being serious about that as well because every moment away from him is torture. Especially when he is naked in his bed!!! I kissed him lightly. "I have to go for a shower."

"Can I join you?" He whispered seductively.

"As much as I would like that I told Sky that I would be half an hour not two!"

I got out of bed and went into the bathroom. After about twenty minutes in the shower I dried off only to realize that I didn't have any clothes. I walked into the bedroom and was about to ask if there were any spare clothes when I saw my bag next to the bed.

"Sky brought it. She forgot to give it to you." Logan said.

"Oh." I grabbed the bag only to realize that these were all of Sky's clothes. Geez that girl will stop at nothing to dress me. I grabbed a pair of short denim shorts and a dark purple see through top that had a purple singlet underneath it. I went back into the bathroom. I was afraid that if Logan were to see me naked it might start up something that won't finish in time. Once I had finished I came out to see Logan still in the bed. His eyes were closed. I don't blame him though. I was feeling really tired as well. Who knew sex could take so much out of you. I crawled on the king size bed and sat on top of him. I kissed his lips and saw his eyes flicker open.

"I'm going now but I'll be back soon I promise."

"Be safe okay Haylie." I kissed him one last time.

"I will, I promise. Now get some rest. You'll need it for tonight." He chuckled at that. I unwillingly got off him and headed towards the door. I turned back to look at him."I love you."

"I love you more."

"Impossible."I said And with that I walked out of the room. I went straight downstairs to see Dave and Sky full making out on the coach. I cleared my throat. Sky jolted up.

"Ah Hey Haylie." I smiled at her.

"Hey Haylie. I'm glad to see your back." Dave said.

"Hey Dave. Thanks I'm glad to be back. So are you ready to go?"

"Yeah." Sky kissed Dave one last time and followed me towards the door.

"Be safe." Dave yelled.

"I will." Sky yelled back.

We got into her car and started to drive off. It was silent the whole way there. I was trying to devise a plan but I couldn't think of one. Sky eventually pulled up to his house. I started to take deep breaths. YOU WILL BE OKAY! I kept yelling at myself. I got out of the car. I saw Sky was about to get out.

"No Sky stay here. I have to do this on my own okay." She contemplated it for a moment then nodded her head.

I walked past the gate and up the steps. I knocked on the door. Then some random blonde guy answered.

"Yeah?" Well this guy was polite.

"Is Lexie here?"

"Who?"

"Lexie. Long brown hair, medium height, hazel eyes."

"Oh! Eric's chick! Yeah their upstairs."

"Great. Thanks." I said sarcastically.

I pushed past him and ran up the stairs. Before I could even rethink what I was doing I pushed open the door. Lexie was backed up against a wall with a few tears falling from her eyes. I immediately felt anger surge through me. This guy is going to pay.

"Well, well ,well. It's nice to see you again Halo. Have you finally changed your mind." I started to take deep breaths.

"Lexie get your clothes." My voice had nothing but anger in it now. Lexie didn't have anything but underwear on. She grabbed her dress and stood behind me.

"I don't think that was very wise of you Halo."

He starts to walk towards me but I close the space. I punch him right square in the nose. "THAT WAS FOR LEXIE!" I punch him again."THAT WAS EVERY LIE YOU TOLD ME!" I punch him one more time."THAT WAS EVERY TIME YOU TRIED TO SLEEP WITH ME!" And then knee him in a not so very nice place. He falls to the ground. "and that was for every time you told me you loved me. And if you ever, I repeat, EVER come near me or Lexie EVER again I will make sure it will be the last time you walk get it!" I turned swiftly, grabbed Lexie's hand and ran out of the house. I started to take deep breaths to keep me from crying. Not because of him but because my hand was killing me! I started to flex it. It didn't seem broken but it hurt like hell.

"Halo...I...I don't know how to thank you! You have know idea what it is like to know that your my friend again."

"Hold up a second there Lexie. I'm not your friend."

"What? But you...you just-" She pointed to the house.

"Lexie what I just did for you was the last and only thing I will ever do for you again. You...you hurt me Lexie beyond words."

"I know Halo I know but he-"

"No Lexie you can't blame this on him." I cut her off. "Yes what he did to you was terrible and yes I know he black mailed you but you started it. You put yourself in this position not him! You were the one who decided to cheat with him behind my back. Lexie you were my best friend but I don't think I can ever, ever be your friend again."

"Haylie please-" I could see tears start to fall.

"If he bothers you again, tell me and I will make sure he won't but that's as far as I go Lexie. I hope you do well in Washington, I'm sure you will and I'm just as sure that you will find new friends. I will miss you. Goodbye Lexie." I turned and walked towards the car. I got in.

"Are you okay?" Sky asked.

"Yeah I'm fine. Can we go now."

"Yeah sure." Sky started the car and then we were off. I kept on thinking about how much I would miss Lexie. She was my best friend but like I said I will make new ones. New friends that I can trust. But that's in the future, right now all I can think about is being back in Logan's arms.
