A Summer Day
Summertime when life's easy
Rises high in the sky
A golden day begins
And the sky is a brilliant blue.
Birds sing and flowers bloom
A shimmery haze of the day
Hangs over my head
As I walk along a sandy beach.
Another summer day begins
Making my heart sing
Another reason to be glad
For the summer season.
