A Star to Wish for

"Look at that"cried my sister Lila as I ran to the window to look "no, up there" Lila said pointing up to the sky, it was a shooting star" quick make a wish!" I said "why would I make a wish to a flying star?" Lila asked. You see Lila was 7 and I was 11. You see Lila is the person that doesn't believe in things like if you eat chicken and if you find a wish bone ,two people pull on either side and whoever gets the took makes a wish and it might come true. But not Lila she never believed anything but what mom dad and what she says herself. I quickly made a wich before mom called for supper"miki! time for dinner!" Mom shouted as I bounced into the dining room. "We saw a boring flying star"Lila said as we sat down "no silly, sorry mom, dad she means a shooting star" I smiled sweetly "ohhh" mom and dad replied at the same time. as we ended dinner I changed to my pjs and hopped to bed my dog lucky jumps up for a hug before falling to sleep at the foot of my bed. I read a book until I fell asleep 2 months later : "look a shooting star' I yelled as the whole family came running(including lucky) "look up there! everybody make a wish!" I made a wish but other hand Lila kept on shouting" why? why?" "oh hush and make a wish Lila before the shooting star passes us" "all right all right but I still think it's stupid" she replied angrily but made a wish 2 days later I found Lila bouncing like a bunny and she started yelling and hopping around the house" mom! dad! miki! my wish came true!!!" We all went to her room and to her suprie her wish was she wanted a cat and in her room was a tabby cat" ain't she sweet? She's a stray she followed me to school and back home, she even climbed a tree and jumped into my window!" Lila explained and smiled sweetly so her parents could say she can keep the cat " You can keep the cat but we got to bring it to the vet and make sure she has shots" "okay!" she said as she said to us" I know believe everything cause it has a possibility!"
